I wonder if this happens very often.

I had received a reference recently for a new FS provider from a provider who only offers massage/HJ. I was told at the time to be careful about it because the provider was new and UTR. I contacted her a few days later and made arrangements for an outcall to my home. When my doorbell rang and I opened the door I received quite a shock because the person standing there was an acquaintance I knew from an entirely different part of my life. She was surprised as well because she had not recognized my voice on the phone and it never occurred to me that she would be the person behind the name that was given to me. I invited her in but both of us were really nervous about the situation since neither of us could acknowledge it in the other situation where we knew each other. We settled that by just agreeing that it would never be mentioned and the visit proceeded even though we were both very, very tentative about the whole thing. It ultimately turned out ok though and afterwards we just talked for a long time about things relating to our other circle - way past the normal one hour. As she was getting ready to leave she said if I wanted she was ok with meeting me again. This is recent enough that I haven't called her again yet, though I will probably see her in the other context next weekend where the others in the group would have no idea that either of us are in the hobby.

The thing is, I do wonder whether I should see her that way again. She was enjoyable to be with once we got over our initial nervousness. But I worry it might make things awkward. There is also a significant age difference and it doesn't help matters that she is totally beautiful and very desirable.

I don't imagine that I'm the first person to ever experience this type of thing, but I'm guessing it is fairly rare. Or is it?

If I were a guy I would probably do her over and over and over again. lol ESPECIALLY if she was REALLY hot!! Damn as a matter of fact. give her my number! lol (just joking)

It sounds like the real deal.

Before doing this on my own I worked for a small service just to get a feel to see if I was going to enjoy what I did. When the service would get a call, she would then in turn call a girl to fit his requirements and provide me with the clients first name and phone #. At that point I would call the client and speak to him and then be on my merry way. Well.... We all know that because of cell phones we have learned to forget everyones phone # because its so much easier just to push that button. I called ..The client answered ....I asked him a few questions including his address..... And immediately hung up. Thank God we were told to block our # when calling the potential clients due to the fact I certainly didnt want to go blow my brother

I can definitely say that hasnt happened hear BUT my brother did walk into a strip club as I stood naked on the stage.  I totally freaked out!!! He threatened to tell my dad if I didnt get him a few table dances from the ladies of his choice. Needless to say I took the rest of the night off while my brother enjoyed the other ladies at my expense. LOL!!!

Something similar has happened to me. A provider I frequented years ago, and whom retired years ago, came into my business a few years ago. She had her young child with her (post-occupational). We acknowledged each other:
"Hey (kosh)! How are you?"
"I know you..."
"Yeah it's me (real name, not escort name)."
OMG-like expressions were exchanged, and I was introduced as an old friend of mommy's. After a few visits, she and I were sufficiently in private to talk about our encounters... if I still hobbied and what not... her post-escort life.... and how she really didn't miss anything more than spending time with her White Knights. I still see her now and then and She lurks here on the boards periodically, though she (to my knowledge) hasn't been available for years. I've even met her SO, though the nature of our relationship has never come up. Some things can be (and are) better left unsaid.

As far as your situation, I say, Why not? What happens between consenting adults is still consensual. If she's willing, and you are.... enjoy!

Whoa!  This is not rare at all.  I have had an ex from long ago contact me unknowingly and someone from my collegiate life.  Both were shockers.  I did not see my ex (he was an ex for a reason and not because he wasn't a good lay) but I did see the other as I was always curious about the person.  The added benefit is that I tend to the nerdy, brainy side of things so it was nice to talk at length about theories and such who really gets it just as much as I do.  I saw the person one more time and then they moved.  We stayed in contact for awhile but the question about why I was a provider and he a hobbyist never came up.  I wanted to ask as did he.  The only thing that was said was I changed what he thought about girl's in the business and that he had to rethink his position.

I picked a provider once ...........she called to confirm the appointment........we had so much in common on the phone I got really aroused and really looked forward to seeing her.   I went to her incall.....she opened the door .........it was the CFO of my company!!!!    We work together everyday!!!!!    It was fantastic!!!!!    We're still good friends!!!!!

I once made an appointment for a massage at my old favorite place on Mt. Vernon.  The girl I got turned out to be someone who had worked as a receptionist for one of my business clients, and I had, in fact, flirted with her a bit.  She felt uncomfortable doing a session with me, and so cancelled.  I waited a few days, then called back and asked to talk to her.  We wound up discussing the situation, and she decided she could deal with it, and we scheduled another appointment.  Our session actually went great, and she allowed a bit more that she was supposed to, as we were now "old friends!"  I would have seen her again, but she soon retired, but I always look back at that situation rather happily, as she was definitely a little hottie that I had lusted after, so it was nice to be able to live out one of my fantasies!
