who didn't manage to make it to midnight, lol. Anyone have a story about awesome plans that went asunder when you fell asleep on the couch at 10:45 and woke up at 12:32 realizing you missed out completely?

 Fortunately, that wasn't me, tho I only sat on the couch watching the simulcast of NY, and Downtown. Anybody else say wtf when the giant M&M opened to reveal.... another M&M? Seriously, BFD.

6+ cars, various city/county/GaStaPo uniforms.
Almost got arrested for my protests about K9 officers who can neither read my documents nor perform (alleged) sobriety checks sniffing around my car... clearly an invasion of my privacy to conduct an advanced search without probable cause. Guess the cops depend on the ignorance of the masses.  
Got asked about firearms in my vehicle to which I replied "I'm not answering that, but I do have this (volunteered showing my Weapons Permit)"
Got attitude from local cop who noticed my in-board camera documenting the event. Cops like their cameras, hate yours.  He threatened to confiscate if I did not turn it off. I politely refused, claiming it is for the protection of both of us, then I mentioned it uplinks to a separate home computer, an office hard drive, and a cloud drive - same as my home security system.
"Go ahead. I'm sure the judge and any civil rights attorney will be interested in comparing our A/Vs of this. If the purpose of this limited check is over, I'd like to continue on my way."

No doubt I'm a marked man with the authorities, but so where Jefferson, Washington, and Adams.
