The Doctor's Wife is amazeballs, I basically want to be Neil Gaiman when I grow up. I love that scene because Matt Smith's Doctor, while very lovable, is very socially awkward especially around relationships and anything sexual. That really was a brilliant performance, the youngest actor playing the oldest Doctor. Smith pulled it off, case in point I would fuck Matt Smith in a heartbeat but I just want to take Eleven bow tie and ugly sweater shopping. I get a real kick out of his relationship with River Sex on Legs Song. Speaking of growing up, if I age half as well as Alex Kingston I'll be over the moon, woman is flawless.

Uh, actually we do - unfortunately that's one thing nerds do very well.  Which is quite ironic as we are the social misfits and all.  You think we would be the least likely to judge others...

Anyway, come here and I'll give you the crash course in how to be a nerd.  This is our little secret, ok?  Just follow these three rules and you'll be a nerd in no time:

1) Act like you know everything
2)...
Come to think of it that's all there is to it.  No steps 2 and/or 3 required.  

But man to man - (or more importantly, nerd to nerd) you have not lived until you have found a pretty little nerdette, brought her home to the batcave, and given her a multiple nerdgasm.

I disagree with Big E - Being a nerd is NOT about "Act like you know everything".

I propose that Nerdom is another term - perhaps more intense or passionate form - of Fandom. Fandom is a more distinguished way of saying a Hobby. Yes, Hobby. Some guys talk football or (insert other sports here) with stat knowledge that's much more intense than a casual fan like myself. Others talk guns/ hunting, or cars, or just pick a topic! We three can talk Whovian.

See? All it takes is an intense passion about some topic be to a NERD. Find someone with similar intense passion for the same topic and you have a Nerdom. Get more than 10 Nerds on topic - Convention! Get 70+ thousand Nerds together, call it DragonCon.

I would thus suggest that more than a few of us here are Nerds of TER ladies. I have less than 20 reviews (dating back other 10 years, so I'm more of a Fan), but there are guys who have many times my review number in a less or equal time span. Some guys are at well over 100 or even 200! I say to you gents, "You are NERDS!"

Anyway, instead I've been building my own Fantasy Provider team.  Of course the fun part is auditioning them all to make sure they meet my exacting standards.
They are a formidable team, a force to be reckoned with, sure to bring any strong man to his knees.  When they are on theirs.

In my view, a nerd is (usually) intelligent and (always) passionate, and applies those traits to an area of interest. It can be a field of study, or a genre, or a specific book/TV show/fictional universe. The best nerds are passionate about multiple interests and you get awesome polymaths like Thomas Jefferson.  

I really like what you said about fandom Kosh. I was, believe it or not, not always treated like the divine paragon of brilliance and sexiness I am rightful recognized as today. High school was a bit unpleasant for me, I realize now because a lot of things you are supposed to care about as a teenager I didn't, or at least not in the same way as my peers did. I was hormonal and horny sure, but all the boys were pimply, dumb, and made fart jokes. I'm exceedingly glad I didn't make my sexual debut with any of them. Anyway, I was a big consumer of books and TV and one day I came up with a story for one of my favorite characters (from an anime, I see your Nerd and raise you all a helping of Geek) and discovered not just Fandom, but Fanfiction. The community of people I found online who shared my interest in this series and wrote fic got me through my last year and a half of high school.  My interest in writing grew as well as my knowledge of other things. Let's just say the Japanese really know how to do porn

And in my experience, nerds are awesome in the sack. 10/10 would recommend. I also think Electron and Kosh should take their bromance offline. Seriously, just have lunch boys. Try it, meeting internet friends is fun. I mean, not as fun as meeting me in my incall, but I might be persuaded to join if someone buys me drinks

Fine so I'll admit  that now I'm closer to my 80s than 'the 80s' but I'm still this way. No TV/TS for me.  
Hell, I hate prostate and hernia checks by my MD - so I'm certain it's not "my bag".

Besides, Electr0n, you might not be easy, but you ain't cheap either. I think we'd talk for hours on end... and I just can't afford an overnight session right now.  

I have yet to go to a M&G - though several ladies have offered to vouch for/escort me in the past. The simple fact remains that it's just too far of a drive for me on a week night. I work early but get a few breaks to chime in here during my work day.

Speaking of Dr. Who, who here has seen the British TV series "The Secret Diary of a Call Girl."  It starred Billie Piper, who was the doctor's companion for a couple of years.  She was beautiful in Who, but was absolutely ravishing as Belle du Jour in Diary.  Better yet, one of her first clients was Matt Smith, before he became the Doctor himself.  Ta-da.  

Fun fact: during one session with a legendary Atlanta provider, the theme song to Secret Diary of a Call Girl ("You Know I'm No Good," by Amy Winehouse) played the radio.  Cool.

And I loved that show. She was amazing in it.
