Seen a few 'I have feeling for provider posts' in the last month. Seen a lot of providers over years and want to share my experience with all the new 'in love' hobbyist. There are 5 types of providers:

1. Young provider without kids - They are either drug addicted, bi-polar, serious daddy issues, high school drop-outs, etc. Usually they have loser boyfriend at at home that has no job, lives off her provider money (whether he knows what she does or not), playing vid games, etc.

2. Yung provider with kids - Same above but cause they were knocked up by some loser who will have nothin to do with them now, they start providing. They have no other skill

3. College student - same as 1 an 2 but with less time on their schedule for providing. They tell you it's temporary but for most, its not.

4. Older provider with kids - Theyve found a way to get providing ok in there minds as 'legitimate' biz and that there 'profesional business-women' just doing what they 'have too' for there kids. Some have found a way to keep the addictions and mentul stuff under control through maturity, some are even crazier than when they began.

5. Older provider with no kids, never been married - This is the hardest one to figure out and topic for another day

Differant in some ways, they share one thing in common. They tell you anything to get your money and keep you coming back. She may have told you that sex with you was 'the best she ever had' but really had better in the 2 appointment in 2 hours right before you.  Strange thing is that though they do this for a living, they would never date you (unless your loaded). They all found a way of convincing themselves there Julia Roberts in 'Pretty Woman' and they can do better than you. They have nothing to support this (except delusion) and deep down, they know what they really are...prostitutes. Irony is, a hobbiest would probably understand and treat them better than the civi they dream of (until he found out) but their too good for that,they think. Not sayin bad, just facts.

I am dying to know which lady you prefer because it sounds like you cant stand ANY provider. FYI not all providers are on drugs or have mental issues or have loser BFs.  Some are paying for college and for a single mom it IS a great income! Why the hell would I work a 9-5 at much lower wages when I can do this AND have fun?? It does not take a genius to figure that one out. Have you been burned or something? Geez your perception of us ladies really sucks! Why would you want to fuck anyone that you have described? lol Oh I guess you forgot to mention anything good at all about this hobby?

I guess he has'nt taken the time to talk to any of the providers he's been with(if he has). I'm fairly new to this, but every woman I have been with has been fun and all have a little different story. Who,as hobbyists are we to judge a providers life outside of the hobby? Maybe he should just stay home and take matters into his own hand. I've had nothing but great sex and nice conversations with the different woman that I've been with. Keep up the good work Ladies!!

You criticize all the ladies here because they all "have issues" yet you post with an alias because you don't want to be turned down by the same women in the future once they know who you are. I've never seen a more ignorant, poorly worded, and insulting post. Everyone in this hobby has silly ideas in their head about the providers they see and the relationship between the two of them. That's what makes it fun. Very few think about it on the level that you are referring to, and I don't think you're trying to offer advice to anyone at all. You sound like you don't give a crap about people in general, especially the ones you decided to group into categories, so why would anyone think you're actually looking out for them by writing your post? The real reason you wrote it is so you could take a cheap shot at all the providers out there, and at the same time post anonymously so that the ladies you stereotyped will keep seeing your desperate, cowardly a$$. Grow a pair, leave the hobby if this is how you feel about it, and take a 1st grade spelling class while you're at it.

Sly summed it up that song.  There is as wide a variety in providers as there is in regular folk (not that providers are not).  Every group he stated above exists, but not to the exclusion of other groups that he has either not encountered, failed to acknowledge or failed to recognize.  To me the only sad thing about many providers is that while they can make a lot of money in their peak years, they are much like athletes with a limited career span.  If you provide from 18 to 40 and by the time you are 40 you have not put away a substantial nest egg, you will see your income declining and, even if you are well skilled for another career, you will have a hard time moving on.  Sometimes, even when you make all the smart moves, a bad choice of boyfriend/husband will put them back on the starting blocks.  So ladies....be smart, have a plan, stick to it, and prosper.

I've been in the hobby for awhile now. I've seen providers of all types, ages, etc. I've had some great times, and some not so great times. There have been way more good times than bad, fortunately.

As pointed out, not every woman has the mentality to do this job. It's tough. I've seen a few doozies in my time, as well as some very special ladies that I've become good friends with. I still manage to keep things in perspective tho. No matter how good our friendship becomes, I realize that it will never go farther than that. So as long as I keep that in mind, I don't see the harm in it.

Yes, some providers have issues, but so do a lot of people. I'm sick of constantly hearing the Oprah version of providing. There are plenty of perfectly well-adjusted, normal providers out there doing this, not b/c they have to, but b/c they "gasp" actually want to. Yes, it is a good way to make money. There's also plenty of providers who do it b/c they like sex, so why not get paid for it? Maybe they want to explore a different side of themselves. Who knows?

All I know, is that I would like to thank all the wonderful providers of Atlanta whom I've seen that have shown me a great time. To those I haven't enjoyed so much, no hard feelings, sometimes things just don't click well. Regardless, the OP should seek some other way of venting, as the post was truly ignorant to a very high degree. Gotta love it when they use aliases too.

You've got serious lady issues my friend. In your mind, all providers are damaged, manipulative and possibly drug addicted and want to trick you out of your money?.  Every lady I've met up to now has been friendly and professional with no more or less issues than any civilian lady I've met.   "Deep down, they know what they really are...prostitutes"?  Are you kidding me??  This is not exactly a news flash, nor the fact that providers are interested in (gasp!) making money. Your post tells me nothing new about the hobby, but quite a bit about you. You have very low self-esteem and an extremely negative attitude regarding providers and, I suspect, women in general.

that some of the most intelligent, generous and nicest people I've met have been providers. I've met a couple that obviously had some issues, but a lower percentage than people I know in my civilian life.

But generalizing it the way you have done above defies what
the realities are and overall, it is offensive. Not sure whether
you have been burnt but I cannot fathom how bad that that burn

As for me all most all providers I have met personally and I know of,
are excellent human beings, have ethics and moral (two exceptions)
standards much higher than I find in civie life and I do have a not
so shabby civie life. I found them caring, loving and giving. I must
admit there are two providers - if we met in another time in my life - I would
have asked them to marry me!

Sorry, I don't get it. There may be a certain amount of truth to your analysis, but it is far from accurate or complete. It sounds as though you force yourself to be serviced by any and all of these "types" and don't enjoy any of it.

My experience as been completely different from yours. To be true, there have been a few times I have been disappointed, but the vast majority of providers I have seen don't really fit into any of your categories.

His characterization is the pure "damaged goods" mantra that has been parroted to characterize the women in the business, even though all in-depth analyses have totally rejected it.  I'm sure that it is relevant for some subsets of society, but they are minimally represented on these pages if at all.  I'm still somewhat new to this, but the ladies I've known are hardly the types he characterizes.  Sure, this is an arena of fundamentally commercial transactions, but the ladies who rise in the TER ranks are warm, responsive, caring people who make new friends of those of us who walk through door - especially if we seem to them to be someone who deserves it.  Attitudes like his seem to be to me the underlying driver of YMMV.  He opens with the term "in love" hobbyist and ends with "get sex, leave."  There is a huge space in between in which she and you can get to know each other, develop a chemistry that amplifies the physical, explore each other and guide each other in the exploration, be comfortable in giving and in receiving, and develop the sort of feed back loop in which what pleases you helps you please her which helps her please you, etc.  Sounds like he is more of a "wham-bam-thankyoumaam" sort of guy, in which it's all about him.  I guess you reap what you sow.  My experience is much more like gentleguy than the anonymous OP.

This post was a message/warning to the 'lovesick' hobiests that have sprung up more than usual lately. Most r probably newbies and don't know the ropes yet. I'm hopin they don't get played out, hurt, have to learn the hard way with their money and feelings, so I posted.

Of course, no one has addressed that. Only the 5 types of providers part which whether anyone likes or don't, has been my general experiance. Nowhere do I put down, call names, or anything like that. These are just the facts I've seen. Are all of you really saying these descriptions aren't accurate in a lot of cases? Anyone that's seen 10 ladies knows one of each. There's always exceptions to the rule but not as many as everyone here says. Whats more helpful to newbies, hearing the reality or hearing that most providers are Mary Poppins?

I've noticed that no one that's posted here has denied this part of hobby...cuz it's true. The ladies that have responded were quick to defend themselves from the descriptions (thats not me!) that weren't attacks in the 1st place. Also quick to attack me personally, with one saying 'I'll get what I deserve'. But no one has addressed the main point in paragraph above cause it's the truth, and they know it.

I'm guessing we got a few 2 and 4 Julia Roberts here. The answer to 'why I see providers' is simple. I want to have sex with attractive women. Never said I hate any of them for what they do. Once again, just stated facts based on my experience. All the wanna be shrinks here don't know what there talking about.

I could not have written a more accurate response, and hope the OP heeds the advise your last line provided.

That is a quite fascinating assessment you made. And who knows maybe there is some truth to it. But I think you failed to assess the hobbyist as well, something I am sure most providers will be too gracious to point out so let me sum it up for you. See most hobbyists fall into these categories:

1. The old man-The guy that without a little blue pill wouldn't stand a chance at ever getting laid again. Not to mention, is attempting to relive days gone by.  So the provider is gracious enough to help fulfill that.

2. The overweight slob-The guy who is too lazy to shed a few pounds to attract a civi. The same guy who is probably the reason why any provider would have to use some substance because after they scrubbed themselves with steel wool and Clorox the only way to get the image of your big ass heaving over them is to knock back a few. But they are gracious enough to save you the embarrassment of trying to do it with a civi.

3. The married guy-The guy who married a woman who never took the time to see if they were sexually compatible. And since that same guy is too big of a pussy to ask their SO to do things that they want, they have to search for someone that will only for a fee. Gracious enough to bend over backwards to satisfy those desires because again this type of guy lacks the balls to encourage their SO to experiment.

4. The married guy with kids-He doesn't want to leave since he is comfortable and doesn't want to hurt the kids. So if he pays for it it is a way of doing mental gymnastics to fool himself into thinking it is all ok. And yet again the provider is gracious enough to overlook the fact that his money might be better usd at investing in their children's college education or a marriage counselor and not judge them to his face for choosing to spend their time with a provider rather than their family.

Oh I am sure this will ruffle a few feathers. But this holy than thou attitude from most hobbyists is sickening. Even if (which most don't) a provider fell into one of your stereotypical categories don't forget that you aren't short of your own problems. Maybe a few more mirrors in your house might help. And being that you went with an alias I will predict you fall into category 3 or 4 .
