I've been going for what seems like forever now.  It's a great place to people watch and get to see some of your favorite celebs from TV and Movies hanging around and having fun.  And the concerts and room parties at night?  Such a fun time!  

I have a couple of outfits I have collected over the years, so I'm doing a Robin Hood outfit as my main.  I have 3 English longbows and a quiver of 2 dozen arrows that I have on my back, plus all the leather and sword and daggers on my hip.  Not too many people with Bows go to DC, but in the last few years that is changing.  With Brave and the Avengers this year I'm expecting to see a few more.  I also have a pirate outfit, and a Men in Black outfit (easy to pull off with a black suit and sun glasses), and I may work on putting together a steam punk outfit while there.  

As you can see, I really like DragonCon!  I even have a room at the Hyatt, even though I live here...  It really is the best way to experience the Con.

Unfortunately I've got to work that entire weekend. I've only made it to one Dragon*Con so far, but it was a blast -- meeting and hanging out with some favorite authors, etc. (Yeah, I'm an SF/F book geek.)

I'm sure you'll have a great time, and probably cause a large number of neck injuries among others, no matter what you wear (or don't wear).

Sounds like a blast!  I remember seeing them dressed up last year...was pretty cool....

I'm hoping to make it out again this year, had a blast last year! I'll look for ya!

......because I am a HUGE comic collector, been at it over 40 yrs now and have a nice collection.  Lots of fun to hang with collectors, and artists, etc. Great times!

I have to admit, seeing you in the Black Cat outfit will be awesome. You'll be a fabulous Black Cat!

I've gone to DragonCon for the past 20 years. It's an amazon time! If someone out there hasn't gone do so one year. If your into people watching, picture taking, or costuming you'll have a fantastic time. The saturday parade is great for seeing most of the costumes and such. I go and take pictures of all the costumes. But the night life is where everything is really at. D*C has the most wonderful night life!!

I love DragonCon, just not the Saturday.  Way too many peeps there Sat.  Will be wearing the big "Misty the Black Cat loves me sign"!
