..this Community can be so powerful if we take care of one another...instead of being part of the problem.  I'm not pointing fingers as I; too, have been put in arm's way but was her screening process complete.  Anything she might have done differently?

Criminal trespassing???? I know what it is like to be questioned by LE; and I told the story as it happened...who I was and what I was doing. But I dared them to call it anything than what it was.  I was the victim and I had privacy rights (as a victim) and welcomed the opportunity to explain to a jury  the difference between consent sex and being violated. The detective on my case agreed. This was in Gwinnett and he had training in the Netherlands which I couldn't have asked for a more supportive police group.  This girl had to deal with a double jeopardy ....being arrested and victim of a theft.  Life is so unfair...

That's too bad. The phone number leads to a videographer, who put his ad on CL. Maybe he lost his cell and the bad guy happened to pick it up and used it though.

Thankfully "Yes" she is okay; she was so scared, she complied without hesitation.  Luckily, the guy wanted the money and a clean getaway rather than harming her on the way out!

As it turns out, Cobb County's finest were far more interested in "how" the Windy Hill Provider happened to have $1,000 in cash, what she did or does to get money, etc. So, to add insult to injury, they charged her with "Criminal Trespass", banned her from the hotel, examined her phone, etc.

BTW, the armed robbery perpetrator is still at large!

Just curious if Cobb County has a "police activity" reports online, or the newspaper that maybe reported this.

Problem is anymore with products like "Spoof Call" people can use any number they want for Caller ID.

They have been known to do that... even if you call them because someone beat the hell out of you or stuck a gun to your head and robbed you .. i say urban justice is the best thing.. fu3k the po po.. now she has to know that they know what she looks like and they will go look for her online.. bless her heart and i would slap the bitch that gave him an ok on the reference end..
