This simply is not so.  She posted an ad yesterday that never went up at all but money was taken off the card. Any emails and calls to them go unanswered.  Also, you don't need to break rules to be removed. If its flagged enough, it comes down. Why should I pay for an ad some bitches can flag down? Bp needs to get their chit together. Either make ads free and allow flagging or moderate the ads themselves and charge. These people are stealing money.

Hey, I am  just trying to be helpful here...If Backpage deletes your ad for breaking Terms of Use, this has happened to me as well, you can e-pmail them back at support and they will give you a code for a free ad! VERY NICE. They will only give you a few chances though. If you think about it, they have to be very careful right now, if they don't want to end up like Craigslist. I, for one, hope they do not because I have met some great friends through their site. However, if ladies can't stop posting explicit stuff, they probably will. :( They do have new rules, you can only advertise for an hour, no quickies...but, if you think about it, that makes sense...they do not want girls on there going "quickie for 50 and half hour for 80..." and talking about time and money, right? And you can't say GFE,etc. now. But, that sort of makes sense, too. If you break the Terms of Use, they will delete you. I have learned. But, also, if other people flag you. Unfortunately if you are really cute, you might have a hater out there flagging you. :(

Ok, so everyone knows that places like TER, escorts, Big Doggie and Preferred are the best places for us gals to advertise and have no worries. It also brings in better clientele. But, a lot of us gals have to advertise in other places like Backpage (and the late craigslist) in order to keep our appointment book filled. What in the world is going on with these sites? It started out with craigslist after the Boston murder of a lady found off there... Then everything went downhill for everyone. CL began charging 10.00 per ad, moderating them so that you could barely say anything and then finally, they are no more. Well now its Backpage. It started with free ads becoming 5.00-7.00 ads, then they were "moderated" by the "admin" on BP before they could go up, and NOW there is a limit to 1500 characters per ad and they are charging 10 dollars per ad! (An ad, mind you, that can be FLAGGED down by others!) I do not understand what in the world id going on! I have been told that Attorney Generals in several states are trying to "rid of online prostitution". This is their means of doing it? If so, why are none of the other BIG sites (like those I mentioned above) being messed with? Or are they? I am just so irritated with this! Its unfair and insane. Today, I have finally had enough! I put up an ad (cost 10 bux) and Backpage  took the money off my debit card, and IMMEDIATELY rejected the ad! They KEPT my money! I just want you ladies who still might use Backpage, that I would not anymore. This is robbery. There is no phone number to contact them on their "contact us" page (which makes absolutely no sense) and when you email them, they NEVER return your emails. A friend of mine gave me a number to reach them, I called it for 3 days and left messages in the past and NOTHING. Last month, I had over 150.00 worth of ads pulled by them OVERNIGHT, because THEY changed the rules! (Not bc I had broken the rules, prior to them changing them!)

Anyway, I just thought id let everyone know this, and that I will NO LONGER be using sites like this to advertise. I can be found here on TER, my website, Cityvibe and Preferred at this time! I have had it!

XOXO

Flagging can NOT remove paid ads on backpage. It only can alert their moderators to a possible problem. So, no "bitches can flag down" your ad. Every time I emailed support, I got a response. It sometimes took 24 hours. If you really have an ad taken down, you can file a charge back or email them asking for a posting credit. The best advice is post an ad that doesn't break their rules and save yourself the headaches.

AG's are up for election in two years and they have to get their name out there as crime fighting AG's to get reelected. What a better way to get your name out there than ------------? All the while, real violent crimes go on unpunished.

It is only going to worse as 2012 gets closer and closer. What happened to the Free Speech police?

Although Backpage can be a problem I have found that if you read the terms of service and follow them, then the ads will stay live. You must remove old ads when reposting or eventually they will catch up with you.

Personally I don't beleive its wise to ask for a posting credit because it just brings you to their attention more. Chalk it up as a business expense and post again.

Good luck
