We texted in the morning and confirmed the appt for the afternoon on the same day. One hour before the appt I texted her but she never responded.
Then for a recent appt, she texted me at the last minute and cancelled the appt.
Should I try to text her again?
Should I wait for her to contact me first?
It shocked me since she is a reputable mature provider.
I had no problem at all for my first appt with her as everything was very professional.

I always wait for them to call me or I wait awhile so they do not think I am there at their leisure.  When they ask why the delay, I politely state the no-show sent me in a different direction.

really?  Gez, man up.

Clearly, she doesn't have respect for you or your time.  If you chase after her and act as if it is no big deal, she will draw the conclusion that she has you wrapped around her finger and she can treat you however she sees fit.  Unless she calls you, begs your forgiveness and offers you something tangible for wasting your time, start shopping for a new ATF.

so, take the advice and move on.
Move the **** on, as there are so many fine, fine, respectful and beautiful ladies on this Board (including independents and agency ladies)- find one -or another if she is a participant here.

Unless she can show you that she was in the hospital, in a car accident or kidnapped..drop her. It is the only way people learn to ncns. Do you think providers sit around worrying if a guy nocall noshows. Hell they won't even reply to his emails anymore, which they shouldn't.

If you allow someone to abuse you whether it is your time, you ego or money, you must set a limit.

This is not the place to fall in love with an ATF. Most of the time someone ends up hurt!

There are dozens of great ladies that are easy to find. Keep moving! Nothing to see here anymore!!

Though new to TER, I'm not new to the "life." Experienced hobbyists I've known don't put up with lack of common courtesy or bad service. Yes, in the US the business is often percieved as a sellers market but you are the customer. You're time is just as valuable as hers. Unlike some of my friends I don't see myself as a walking doller sign all the time, but business is business. Good service receives repeat business and often extra consideration. Respect is a minimum on both sides.
A couple of my arrangments have lasted years and it does get to be more than the money, but remember what they say; "Don't fall in love with the car.!"
