Carson Carlisle in a response to a question posed three or four threads down informs us that "... right now agencys have a 60/40 split between the agency and the provider".   I think she meant 40/60, whereby the Provider receives the 60% share, Agency 40%.  Further, Kayla with Sophisticated Escorts advertised on the Regional Ad Board a creative "frequent flyer" program for February that is very attractive to us Hobbyists, or at least for those of us that see the same Provider several times during a month.

A question I've always wondered when seeing an Agency lady, with whom the owner has offered discounts, is whose split does the discount come from?  

The reason I ask is because I always wonder if I should increase my usual tip "to make the Provider whole" or does the cut come from Agency profits?

Ladies/Agency Owners?   Guys, do you ever increase your tip thinking the discount is coming from the lady's share?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Let me begin by saying that the agency portion is NOT pure profit...very high expenses involved with owning/running an agency.  Depending upon why the discount is given determines whether or not both agency and provider takes the hit or if its just the agency.  If the discount was given because of a "special" that was running or because it was someone's birthday, both agency and provider take a hit.  Usually this is 10 or fifteen dollars on either side.  The provider wants business and if a discount is given to obtain that business than the provider "wins".

I imagine the splits all depend on the agency and provider in question.

As for tipping, I also imagine that depends on how the splits are and how generous you are feeling.

She said that the agency used to eat the full discount, but that it now spits it with the providers.  That is, if the discount is $25, the provider will get $15 less and the remaining $10 will come out of the agencies cut.

I usually increase my tip if the specials a particularly good deal, but it depends.  I know a lot of guys don't tip at all, and the women are well paid, so I vacillate over this.  Sometimes I don't tip at all, othertimes I overtip.  I try to be fair.

I believe that qualifies you for the Most Generous Agency Owner/Pimp/Madam Award of the Year.

The agency always takes a cut on a special but in some cases so does the provider. Some agencies have  splits that are 30/70.

It depends on the special as far as how it is split, if at all.  Some times we eat the whole cost and sometimes we split our specials with the ladies.  

In the event of a split, the agency takes the larger cut. Generally speaking $35 off is 25 from the agency and and 10 from the ladies and so on.
