Hey kids, will be in the Arlington/DC area Sunday through Wed next week for a seminar and looking for a little info on good places to eat, in the area of the Hyatt Regency Crystal City. Done a little research, but folks who have been there usually know better than a basic printed listing, so anyone have a favorite or two, please pass it along, I'd appreciate it! Here or PM, your choice.

Thanks Much!

I eat at the Legal Seafood at the far end (from the Delta terminal) of National Airport whenever I can.  I've even been known to take the Metro out there to eat and then back to my hotel on days I am not flying.  Clam chowder is outstanding - and lobster rolls are a great way to get your lobster fix (relatively) cheap.   The rest is good too.  And - Legal Seafood at the airport has lobster rolls all day long - many of the restaurants only serve them at lunch.  Since I often travel alone, they also are set up great for those dining alone for lunch or dinner.  Easy place to get to from Arlington.

One more thing - no worries:   its a safe place for everyone, because its not "that" kind of LE!

Well technically, you'll have to take a drive along the George Washington Pkwy to the Key Bridge but, it's beautiful! IMHO - the very best view of DC (I actually think this is where the post card photographers do their work, lol!) Seriously though, it might take about 30 minutes driving time (lights, traffic, etc.) but it's worth it. Once you get there, you have your choice of just about any cuisine you can think of. My personal favorite is Tony & Joes at 3000 K Street. And guess what! Restaurant Week starts Monday...a three course lunch is only $20! Eat a crabcake for me!

xoxo

Caylee is right about G'Town , but if you do not have a car:
1) there is a Legal Seafood right across RT1 from Crystal City.
and
2) there is the Virginia version of a topless bar also across the street. VA+ ladies must wear pasties and cover that "special area". The location is called "Crystal City Restaurant" (yep- they serve food too). Lots of great looking ladies. RE: no nude dancing in VA-No wonder the politicians that commute to DC are so f'ing up-tight, and if you need an all nude club-  take a taxi to DC's "Good Guys" in upper-Georgetown (probably cost you $20 each way) .
3) Crystal City Sports Pub- GREAT location for tv sports, drinks, and above average food. Check it out on Google- one of my favorites.

BTW- great selection of ladies in DC too (although I still prefer Atlanta ladies). Check the DC Boards out.
