Friends,

I will be flying through Tokyo Narita in January, with a 19-hour layover at the airport.

Any suggestions for hobbying then?  Anything available at (or near) the airport?  Or, do I need to go downtown?  I understand that the airport is an hour (two?) from downtown.

Any advice will be appreciated!

You're really planning ahead! As you know, the airport is some distance from downtown. Limousines are the usual means of getting into town; a taxi could set you back several hundred dollars. Nineteen hours is a long time, which depending on the time of day, may be long enough to allow you to get into town and visit a soaplands (see my review). You should check out the forum below and see if the local guys have any suggestions.
