I was re reading some of the previous threads and was drawn to the one on rating beauty. I was reminded of a system suggested in the mid to late 1950s by students at MIT for rating female attractiveness. It was based on the fact that Helen of Troy had a face that launched 1000 ships. It was suggested we all use the Mili-Helen system. One Mili-Helen being that degree of female beauty capable of launching one ship. It caught on briefly and work was begun on perfecting it but then we got involved in the space race and things like preventing polio and saving Vietnam from the horrors of Communism and the more important scientific work of society was neglected.
