Over the TER “hiatus”, I crossed into the second half of this blessed decade.  
My personal observations:
I am hobbying far less, maybe once a quarter, but i enjoy it very much when I do.
When I do, I shoot noticeably less quantity, but the sensation is unchanged.  
And, blessed be her, the erection is just fine 9 times out of 10.

?? Were you trying to say that sometime during 2018-2019, your birthday count crossed the half-century mark?  You are now 50+?

and since we are on the "60 and Over" board I think it's pretty easy to deduce that he means he is now 65 and that with age he is slowing down, but not dead yet. lol

 
You really should pay more attention to which board you are on. Once you figure out which board you are on his statement makes perfect sense. Not everyone needs to write a short novel in order to get across one simple point.

Your explanation makes better sense. I interpreted "decade" is 2011-2020 which made no sense to me, hence my thinking the he was referring to crossing the half-century, not the half-decade.
