I always use SMOOTH JAZZ, it's nice in the background. If you would have been able to make to San Diego, I would have played it on my new Sonos system for you...hope you make it down here soon. Don't forget me!
I'm a Rock n Roll guy 60's British Invasion , Beach Boys, Beach Music (from the Carolinas) 70's but not Disco unless you want to dance, Good blues, good jazz. I like classic rock. Good guitar as in Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Earl Klugh.
A great choice for a session would be a Moody Blues playlist. Sinatra, Martin, were a little before my time but as I said I do like them along with most of their contemporaries.
That was my list when younger, now I am all about the LOVE. And smooth jazz just works for THAT! Now your idea of a Moody Blues playlist...That sounds GOOD! I'll have to try that next time, Thanks for the suggestion.
Worldwide groove station on pandora. To me, it's just sexy and the gentlemen I see usually ask me "who's thst playing?" They seem to like it too XOXO TL
....... I sometimes notice music when I walk in. But, after that I am usually too focused on the delicious woman and her ministrations to notice.
A retired favorite of mine used to love house music, it distracted me, so we negotiated a compromise. She played it while I DATY and she BBBJ, but when I slid it in her pussy...... the music turned off and the fireworks started. Hehehe
I don't even hear the music if it's on during a date as my focus is elsewhere. Unless it's Joe Bonamassa. I'm wired to his grooves. The older I've become, the less and less I have music on when I'm home, as I prefer the peace and quiet. Looking back on the fav outcall to my house several days ago, putting on some music didn't even occur to me. I do record a lot of the concerts broadcast on PBS, and will watch them when I feel the need for musical entertainment. In the car is a different story. I have a Sirius/XM subscription and it's almost always on. I tend to listen to a particular genre for a while, until I find myself searching the channels for something different. Lately it's been real jazz, before that it was the blues, before that classic 60's/70's rock, and before that smooth jazz.
Yes! Music makes a difference to me. These days I have Pandora on and my fav station Melody Gardot. All ages seem to like the mellow grove. Then Smooth Jazz, sometimes World Music. Fetish clients....Massive Attack type. Domination....maybe Nine In Nails. See it's fun.
My favorite moment was in the middle of some hot and sweaty fun and "love for sale" was playing. Ya gotta love it! xxx's Anneke yeah...I'm still around.
the mood, the person I am meting... 90% of the time I have Bossanova, Jazz, Sinatra, only once I got a request with Rock.. and it was not a fun apt. I like slow, soft, relaxed music type!
...being one who prefers a more "active" playlist. If you have SiriusXM, punch up Octane and we'll be happily rockin'; if you have Pandora, set a station to 5 Finger Death Punch and we'll be headboard-bangin'.
Despite being 64 and a certified dinosaur (thus the handle), I remember the Beatles, Stones, etc., from the first go-round. While they were great for their time, I believe rock is something best served fresh; the rest of it is "dinosaur rock" and is good for the occasional bout of nostalgia. I speak only for myself and y'all enjoy whatever music gets you in the mood for playtime -- but give me something more contemporary and driving.
I typically listen to a Pandora channel during heated activities and then my favorite artists during intermission. By accident, I found that listening to a ladies favorite channel at work or in my vehicle triggers memories of the encounter - like a second taste.
Pandora - Mazzy Star, Buddha Bar, Chill Radio, Sneaker Pimps, Sade, Bebel Gilberto, Astrid Gilberto, Thievery Corp, The Shins, Urban Chill Fav Artists - SRV, Gary Clark Jr, Rory Gallagher, Eric Clapton, Allman Bros, Bob Marley, Bruce Hornsby, etc. Music is integral to most of my activities.
More times than not. The music is tuned out during play time. So much other enjoyment is taking place. But it's a good overall atmosphere enhancer.
I have a wide selection of music genre. (Albeit, no rap, hip hop or bubble gum music). I have have good ol' blues, rock, jazz etc playing.

Does music add to your experience in a session? If so, what types of music do you prefer? For my 60+ gents, I tend to play some of the rat-pack, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra or some nice jazz...for the 45s I tend to default to a more contemporary playlist, then sometimes just a nice instrumental jazz. Can't seem to get into the 80s hair bands...
I like most genres of music, except for rap/hip hop. I tend to lean towards the '60-'70s genre, since I grew up during that time period, but I have favorite artists covering several decades up to the present. During session, I usually go with whatever kind of music my provider enjoys.
I like to hear Sinatra or the other crooners. Also some "smooth jazz," or even some classical music. But Barry White of Marvin Gaye will help. I even have listened to Steve Roach's album, Slow Heat
Interesting we're continuing a thread begun a couple of years ago! For those inclined towards a bluesy, jammy, classic rock vibe, check out a new release from the old Fleetwood Mac: Live: The Cue Club, Gothenburg Sweden. I found it on Spotify and think it's a re-issue of a previously released lp. This iteration of the band is before Christine McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, and Stevie Nicks. I love it. But I heartily agree with a previous poster's suggestion of Miles and Kind Of Blue. Glad that TER's back on-line.
Personally, I love Al Green and Roxy Music/Bryan Ferry. There are some sexy tracks from Fiona Apple and Alanis Morrisette. I also liked recent release tracks from Florence + the Machine, Lana del Rey and Metric. I had some Zero 7 and Sarah MacLachlan toward the end of my playlist for winding down. I made a 70s/80s playlist once -- that had a lot of yacht rock on it -- Robert Palmer, Eagles, 10cc, Boz Scaggs, Steely Dan, Gerry Rafferty, etc. Can't go wrong with that
Smooth jazz is great music for sex but the radio stations which that play it also play commercials. I was once enjoying a great session in a hotel with the radio at the bedside playing music when just as I was approaching orgasm when all was disrupted by a commercial for Forest Lawn! Death of erection. Ever since then I bring my own iPad with several playlists from 60s and 70 s music and have been able to turn younger ladies onto some of my favorites. What I am really hoping to find is a gal who can do an erotic strip dance to “she moves in Mysterious Ways” by U2. The beat and melody are so erotic and the lyrics celebrate the Goddess in all womankind.
I stopped listening to radio after personal storage options advanced beyond cassettes. The commercials were just too annoying. And lots of bad music between the good stuff.
The downside is that I've lost a couple decades worth of discovering good new tunes. I've heard people complain that today's music is shit. But they've always said that. I'm no longer in a position to form my own opinion. All my music is on pen drives and probably dates to the 1990's or earlier.
