This week, just as we were beginning our get to know you chat,  my date asked me what I thought about her photos.  I had to admit that I had barely looked at them because I was attracted by what she had written.  She said, "That is a very mature thing to say.", took my hand and led me to her bed.  I have to confess I'm still a bit surprised.  I thought she was going to be annoyed.

I'm very much driven by visuals so photos are always what first get me interested.  If the photos draw me in, I'll read through all the ads I can find to try and get a feel for her personality, then peruse TER reviews looking for clues as to her demeanor and how a session may unfold.  If my interest holds through all that, then it's a matter of whether her rates are a challenge to my budget or not.

i suppose it is a sixth sense we have to make the right pick..my little guy usually will give me the " heads up" on the right fit..

That was around the year 2002 or so.

I wasn't even looking for a particular type, but somehow when I saw a photo that grabbed me, then I'd start checking out reviews, etc. and if everything clicked, I'd set up a date.  I still see several gals I met that way from around that time.

Lately however, now that I spend time on these boards, I've come to start meeting people based upon getting to know that from here, and PMs, etc.

I still like to check out photos, but it's not that big a deal any more.

The very 1st thing is how old she claims to be. Anyone younger than 28 or 29 is automatically rejected. Next I look at her TER reviews if she has them. There I see if bbbjcim is on the menu. For her looks, I'll check her website and TER  P411 for photos and consideration. I'm not looking for a long list for I'm content with a few great companions. One of my favs I first noticed her in some GD threads. She expressed herself intelligently and eloquently. From her website I could see she was a beauty and I was hooked. There are some with whom I have traded PMs but they are not in my town and I'd like to visit them sometime.

At this stage of my life I'm very choosey. The ladies website needs to grab me. Does she offer services that excite me and what I want to experience. Her pictures need to grab to a certain extent. Finally,does she have reviews that are consistent with her stated philosophy . Then ,and only then ,do I proceed to make contact. Life is too short to waste on the ordinary .

If I'm attracted to her, I look at the donation to see if she is in my budget range.  If she's not, I move on.  If she is, then I begin the research process, look for reviews, check out phone #, verify the pictures, look at her website if she has one, look for her ads.  No reviews, no visit, and I move on.  The only time I will see someone who has no reviews is if she is recommended by a trusted hobby buddy or provider I've seen and trust.  In my research, I look at her menu also, if BBBJ and DFK are not on the menu, then I'm done with her and go no further in research.  

Considering the verbiage was probably put together by a web designer or filched from somewhere, I would never base a decision on the narrative presented on a provider's web site.  I have gotten to be relatively good friends with some providers and, based on my limited experience, the description on web sites is between spurious and delusional.  I would believe a life insurance salesman before digesting anything from a provider.  I read the reviews and try to judge just how accurate they are.

Yes, the physical attributes and services on offer are all important. But for me, especially at this stage of my life, establishing some sort of personal and philosophical connection is most important. Youngsters can't do it; it requires the perspective and personality of a mature woman. What really captured me by my ATF regular, Kelly, was this text from her web site:

1. Age.  Must be a MILF or GILF.  My search starts at 30 + expecting that they are lax in updating their real age.
2.  Service offerings.  BBBJ with a big + for CIM.
3.  TER ratings and reviews.  I look at the lower end of the scores and read the reviews to assess what to expect and then be pleasantly surprised.
3.  Convenience.  I can't spend a couple hours commuting round trip and outcall isn't an option.
4. Personality.  They have to come across kind and reasonably intelligent.
5. $$$
6.  Looks.

...the thing you have to keep in mind is that not all of us attach the same amount of importance to it. So, it could be a big deal for some and for others not so much.  

It is for me, but with 30 as the qualifier. I'm like Wild Wil. I will only see ladies 30+. So if you're 37, and say you're 33, I'm happy to see you. If you're 33, and say you're 30, I'm still happy to see you. But if you're 33, and say you're 29, see ya later. Truthfully, I'm more inclined to see a lady if she's 35+. So maybe you better start advertising at 37, instead of 30. Just teasing, because the vast majority of guys are opposite of me. They want young kitty.

I have seen girls of all ages and sizes.  The one thing that I cannot stand is when a lady shows photos of herself some 30 pounds or more ago.  When I am expecting a stealth woman at the door and it turns into twice what I paid for is just WRONG.  There are guys that love a lot of women to love..........but let them make that choice.

So it's usu what mood I'm in. The one constant is I like over 30. From there I'll read reviews and look at pictures. Today might be a spinner, tomorrow an AA milf.  I have my limit as to how much I'll spend, but where I hobby there's plenty to choose from.  
The one type of provider I stay away from, the ones with all 10/10 scores.

Yes, I see your point of view precisely.  I have been attracted by the quality of her posts here.  It is so much more satisfying to share time with someone who can form complete sentences and articulate her thoughts.  Sadly I rarely travel to DC.  Happily there are many bright, empathetic women in Tampa.

Wow!  Thanks for the compliment!  No not a web designer and not filched.  Maybe I should copyright my occasional post.   I'm the real deal from the era when we made contact through newspaper ads with at best a fuzzy, tiny, black & white photo.  I still like to make contact on the phone first to learn from her voice.  Curiously I find that what a lady writes on a well thought out website or blog is very instructive.

I just like a minimum of surprises when the door opens.

But all that said, the way I pick most of my dates is by meeting them at a M&G or by getting a strong reference from someone I know who's seen her.  I have a loose network of guys who know my taste and whose taste I trust.  It hasn't failed me yet.

What happen to all the guys who are going through a midlife crisis and they wanted younger arm candy to slow their aging process. I remember this being a big factor a few years ago. I find it fascinating how many gentleman today prefer older women. Not necessary mature but older.

Wow Crystal? Chasing young kitty slows the aging process? OMG, I didn't know that. You've found the fountain of youth. Now I'm gonna have to change all my numbers around. If that lady is 30, she needs to advertise as 19. If she's 40, she needs to advertise as 26. If she's 50 or over, she's perpetually 29. Now if I chase enough young kitty, will it reverse the aging process? Will I become perpetually 29? More importantly, will my big ass prostate go back to the size of when I was 29?  

What about when it's BETTER than what you've expected???
