If the guy knows what he is doing and is really into it, I love it.

if the guy is doing it out of some sense of obligation, or he really doesnt know what to do - I would prefer he skip it altogether.  If the guy is clueless or just not into it,  it can be rather annoying to me rather than the enjoyable experience it should be.
