I was thinking about how that once great society has declined.  Anyway, I wondered about the term "Greek".  Does anyone know how anal sex came to be called that?

And I mean waaaay back in ancient Greek times, it was fashionable and expected that men would take a young man and have anal sex while waiting to take a bride/ no available women. Not at all considered gay but a sexual outlet when a woman was not available. This is the very, and I mean very, simplified explanation.

...and heard more than once but never bothered to check out was the guys in Greece wanted sex and they wanted to marry virgins...so they had anal sex with the lady...so she was still a virgin. Take that story for what it's worth.

but modern Greeks as well!! I spent some time there in the past and have a funny story about that. PM me if interested.

A theory has it that Greek men only married women to procreate, but saved their true love for men. Women weren't worthy of that. That's just one theory told to me by a Greek American (born in Greece, raised in both countries) from NYC.
