Two days ago, J. Jackson had a terribly offensive and hate-filed interview about how the Zionists have been controlling U.S. policies for decades. (This is a classic anti-semitism - that a tiny percent of the population controls the entire foreign policy of a nation and that the entire nation is duped against its better judgment. Long, long history of this.)
Dozens of instances of GOP speakers booed off campus.
David Horowitz's interview in the UCLA Bruin caused the left to collect all the copies they could find in the newspaper stands and throw them out so no one could read them.
Google "Bush Hitler" or "Bush Fascist." hunderds of millions of hits.
During the last election I went to a meeting where they had lawn signs. I asked for one for Schwarteneger and the guy asked me how many I wanted. When I said one, he said, it would not last two days. (It only lasted one. The second one also was taken down the first night.) I had a lawn sign up now and had to paint my fence last week.

I am getting tired of just spouting out examples from the top of my head.
There may have been one - or a few - people at a couple of rallies.
But unless you are willing to tag the Dems with all the hate from their history, this isn't a story.

Amazing how a story that is false gets spread .Obama needs to publicly apologize to McCain and say the story is now unfounded since Obama used this last night in the debate.

It is interesting to trace the story to how it originated.
It is even more interesting to see how it has evolved in the media. Even if it is true, which I doubt, you have one person at one rally shouting something that no one else seemed to have adopted.
From one individual it has evolved into a story about how hate filled GOP rallies are becoming.
Why one person in a crowd becomes the tenor of the campaign is facinating.
I have seen videos of GOP rally attendees who have often lowered themselves to the point of calling protesters commie faggots, and repeatedly telling them to get jobs (since we protest, we obviously don't have JOBS), claiming that they wished Palin had charged rape victims DOUBLE the cost of their rape kits. I am sure that there is vitriol on both sides of the fence, but I have been to several marches and protests and not ONCE have I seen the folks fighting with me for the causes we believe in use such hateful language towards the folks who were protesting our protests, even when they held signs with such charming messages as "GOD HATES YOU ALL."
So, no, it wasn't just one person in a crowd. Open your eyes.

Maybe McCain didn't hear it, but the person definitely said it. So if the Secret Service needs more proof, they should go back to the audio.

How does one person shouting one thing in a crowd become typical of the movement?
I remember during the Lebanon/Israel war there were anti-Israel demonstartions in S.F. and other cities with the most hateful signs I have seen in 40 years. Please forgive me for repeating this, but one said, "Nazi Kikes get out of Lebanon."
The signs remainded in the crowd for the entire demonstration and there was no attempt to remove them.
Was the entire peace movement tainted by these signs? Why is one person at a McCain rally given national headlines?

I check also and none of the people that shouted out at the rallies are running for president either, so I guess if none of your hate mongers or my hate mongers are running, then they are in the same boat, and are comparable.

The story in the Scranton Times-Tribune said that the threat was called out while congressional candidate Chris Hackett was speaking and, mentioned Obama's name. You say it was called out when John McCain was speakng as per your linked You Tube video. Which was it? Also, when Chris Rock was on Letterman a few years ago, the conversation got around to G.W. Bush, and the war in Iraq. Rock said, "Someone should get a gun and kill that motherfucker". The MF word was bleeped of course, but you could read his lips. To threaten the life of the President is a felony offense. Don't see Rock in jail do you? Guess he got away with that one.
The topic for discussion is threatening death to a presidential candidate. I presented a YouTube video that proves that such a threat was made at a McCain rally. You are correct that the article referenced Chris Hackett speaking.
So we are talking about 2 different rallies. Does that take away from the premise of the debate?

Meandered off my ass. When someone says the president should be killed, no matter what the context or occasion may be, it is still an offense. What bigotry are you talking about at the 2 rallies? Now you've introduced something else into the 'debate'. Which is it, death threat, or bigotry? BTW, I've watched the You Tube video several times, and do not hear the words, "kill him". Something was shouted, but how do you discern those words?

The man's shout at 13 second COULD be "kill'em", but it's not conclusive.
If several Secret Service agents didn't hear it, that supports claims that McCain didn't hear it. Microphones can pick up sounds that otherwise aren't heard by people even very close to the mic.
Either way, the question of how the MSM amplified this report remains.

Love Trig", God Bless America and we even say God Bless the Cops. I have never heard anyone say anything degatory or hateful towards the DEmocratic ticket. I have heard these epithets and seen banners with; "McCain is a war criminal", McCain is baby killer, and towards Palin; Christian Fascist" and other ugly names I will not repeat.
