Its been on the market for a while, still in its infancy is the reason none is talking about it, but its quite popular in the Gay community, i saw an article on Vice.com last week covering it, its very informative and opened my eyes and ears for the future. It still doesn't protect against common STDS and Infections, but its definitely promising in the fight against HIV.
I did a search for truvada going back three years, and I was surprised not to see any posts. I think providers (especially tops) that took truvada regularly and were shown to be HIV- in the past could charge a premium, as they are nearly assured of being clean. (HIV wise anyway). Has there been any talk of this?
Providers, do any of you take truvada as a pre-exposure prophylactic (PrEP)?
