The listings are bare bones info, with no photos (at least, I've never seen any photos (this is likely my #1 beef.)
I don't think that anyone (reputable) places their own ad on SW. The SW bot scrapes info from other sites and posts it. They are a secondary source. Providers cannot edit, correct or even delete their info ... which is often incorrect and outdated.
I think, but don't know for sure, that they easily go stale.
And deep down, I'm annoyed at the pop-under windows for ashley madison.

Those pop-ups and such are how SW makes their money. They get nothing from posting Provider ads.
If I were the "Lord Master of TER" or something, I'd consider an action to stop accepting skipsweb as "ad website" for new reviews or corrections (grandparent the ones already there.)
Grandfathering should be allowed, for sure. (See previous post.) I don't notice too many NEW SW ads.

Not a big deal; just idly curious what other TER users or Lords Master might think :)

And Skip, if you're out there reading this, nothing personal.  Maybe consider adding photos and just have the ads on the page without any of those nasty pop-ups.
Skip says, "OK lustin, I'll get right on it."

Did a due diligence search and didn't find anything in this forum, so here goes:

Sometimes I wonder about skipsweb - is it "good enough" to be an acceptable host for "ad website" in TER review profiles?  I can see an argument for "good enough - but barely", but also see an argument for calling it unacceptable by "high standards" that TER might want to maintain.

Perfectstorm and other better historians will fix my errors, I hope.

I think the precipitating event was when Craigslist shut down escort ads. Or it might have been when Eros tried to compete with TER by adding a review feature and TER banned everything-Eros (ads, URLs for Profiles, etc.) from TER.

Out of the storm, a new ad site arose using a name that was something like TER-this or eroticreviewADs or something. That site was just an opportunistic venture that use a bot to scan in TER Profiles and info from the attached URLs. They would "scrape" the internet for escort ads and info. They didn't seem to charge for the ads and even ignored requests to have ads removed. I guess they made their money from sidebar and popup ad revenue. I always thought it was a TER spinoff company but then their links were banned from TER and TER Profiles.

Then, up popped skipsweb which is the same kind of "scraper" or bot that hosts ads whether the ladies want their ads their or not.  Skipsweb might be the same guys who tried to get away with using something TER-ish in their first attempt.

I do not think that skipsweb links should be banned. They remain an archive for checking up on reincarnations and proving duplicate Profiles. (New Mary Profile 98x654; looks a lot like Old Susie Profile 65x321. How can I prove that New Mary is Old Susie? Old Susie's skipsweb link still has a picture and other info that proves that New Mary is Old Susie. Without the Skipsweb link, there is no proof.)

Please help with my history if I've screwed it up too badly.
