Strictly speaking, the odds of getting an STD from oral are low, and lower if you're a dude provided you didn't just shave.

The problem is, people simply don't know the risk, which seems to go one of two ways. One, they think that everything is NBD, or two, they think looking at a woman wrong gives you aids.

Here's a great resource for gauging said risks.

Also, if you're getting a BJ, the risks are only really there if your provider has an active cold sore or will get one in a few days. Otherwise there isn't enough viral shedding to actually transmit the infection reliably. That said, condoms are somewhere between 30 and 50% effective at preventing HSV, because it doesn't matter if it's genitals to skin. There's probably a little better odds orally, but still not nearly 100%. Again, these are statistics, you can do better if you're more careful. Things like everyone washing thoroughly before and after can do wonders for disease transmission.

So browsing stories, avoiding work... I've come across more than one story that discusses CBJ but with BLS...  One even wrote out how he specifically asked for cbj when offered bbj but then specifically also says enjoyed bls as well...

Now unless he's pulling the hat back to his taint I'm confused....   (Though I did have a gf back in college talk about an ex who hated using condoms cause it hurt his balls.. turned out he was really pulling the condom over his balls... I still laugh about that.)

I read these types of scenarios and raw rubbin to start and then a hat for the main event... I only get this if its for staying power or birth control and if that's the case then we're done here....

Otherwise, kinda closing the barn door after the horses are gone, no? What gives?

Discuss.
