Just found this on the news wires. If you are a DC resident you can get a free HIV test when you get your license renewed. Do you all think the government should be paying for this ? I saw some other articles that some of the people already knew their status and got another test anyway (wasting tax payer money).
Do you all think this is a social experiment that will lead to laws in the future where HIV status is on a persons drivers license ?
It clearly states that a non profit group is paying for it, not the taxpayers.
I also think it is a great idea, testing and awareness are two of the most important weapons we have in the fight against AIDS. I can't believe you wouldn't be behind this 100%
