A 60/40 split is not great, but should put them no worse than middle of the pack

There are a lot of charities with much higher fundraiser/administration fees.

I too would be interested in seeing how much of that 40% are direct costs of raising money and how much is admin.

...You can pooh pooh CBS but not Charity Navigator.  WWP doesn't rate very well.   According to Charity Navigator, the most efficient charities spend 75% or more of their budget on programs and services and spend less than 25% on fundraising and administration fees combined.  Wounded Warriors Project spent nearly 60% on program and 40% on administration and fundraising.

The only thing I wonder is should the advertising be separated from the admin costs.

WWP spends a lot on adverts because they are so big. They have to. Now if you are telling me they are spending millions on salaries and travel etc... that ain't cool. (see Clintons)

That queer lobbyist squid with his start VET organization though . Dude says " we " don't want your dough. F him ! Myself and few others come out of pocket ever winter to gear up homeless vets to survive in cold . I'd happily take Trump's dough so we could set them better and put them to work and also help get their heads straight .
