I don't think figs are in season
I was having some tummy issues last week and was looking for natural remedies to help ease the discomfort. My usual thought process is to brainstorm ideas from my current bank of knowledge and experience. I remembered that ginger was very helpful easing morning sickness- almost miraculously. I had ginger in the refrigerator and, voila, it worked its magic. I got to thinking about what other ailments ginger might assist with. I have this pelvic issue and thought hmm.. if I stick ginger in my butt, I wonder if it would help with the inflammation that sort of radiates to the butt area. I didn't know much about ginger working for that so I googled it and apparently it's a BDSM fetish thing called figging. I tried it out, and I have to tell you, WOW feels great!!! It feels therapeutic. It's not painful (unless you're a big sissy). It's just warm and tingly. I HIGHLY recommend slicing off a piece of ginger and putting it right up your bottom. I have not tried masturbating with ginger in my bottom yet. Not sure I will because I'm not feeling that kinky about it. For me it's more like listen to Buddha Lounge music and kick back. If you're feeling kinky about the ginger in your bottom, it might heighten the sensation of an orgasm. I'm curious to hear of any really great experiences with figging.
for its therapeutic effects, LOL !!
It does feel good, doesn't it? The fresher the ginger is the better, just make sure you peel it thoroughly and leave yourself a handle so you can get it out of wherever you put it !!I will eat Sedona. Will that help my tummy.
I don't know why it's called figging. Now I want to try figs with ginger. Sounds yummy.
This whole ginger thing sounds interesting. Let's exchange ginger recipe's . l love ginger snaps and fig newtons. Lol
....I might be kinky enough to try this figging thing after I look into it a bit more. lol
But when they have them at Trader Joes, I buy lots of fresh ones. I don't like the dried figs and haven't tried canned figs. I like fig newtons/fig bars, though. I bet those would be great with some candied ginger (just a hint). Not sure how I'd do the fresh figs and ginger. Sometimes simple is better: maybe a cheese plate with triple cream brie, candied ginger, fresh figs, and toasted pine nuts? That could be used with crackers or even sort of like a bruschetta over thin toasted baguette slices. I'm not a fan of cooked brie, though. I like it cold and creamy. I've never tried making homemade ginger cookies (with fresh ginger). Ginger snaps have always been a favorite. Especially in the cooler months.
I'm a fan. GF introduced me to it a while back while in a "let's try new things" phase and we had a lot of fun. It can get intense the first time, but like a lot of things, gets easier LOL. Here's a good look I found:
