Probably been asked before but I couldn't find it.
I can see two sides to this: First protecting a providers privacy, discretion (both ways) is about the only way this business works. On the other hand, if you must ask permission first I doubt any review would be anything but favorable, leaving the bad eggs out there to continue their rip offs, upsales, etc.it probably isn't necessary to ask. However, if she is an established provider with few or no reviews, I'd say go ahead and ask. She may not want reviews for whatever reason, which is not important to you. You only need to know if she wants you to write the review.

If it's a good review, then it might be a good thing to ask just in case she really doesn't like reviews and then her wishes should be respected
OTOH, if the service was lackluster or downright bad, and you plan on writing a bad review, her wishes are irrelevant and you should go ahead and write the review whether she wants it or not.
ome ladies prefer to keep a lower profile by not having a bunch of new reviews. There's nothing wrong with honoring her wishes if it would be a positive review but if it's bad, just write it, you probably won't get her approval to write a bad review.
You could give her a heads-up as a courtesy if you'd like.
The only time I would feel restricted, is if a lady mentioned that she didn't like reviews BEFORE the date (which though not always - because some just like to be more discrete - CAN be a red flag) and if I agreed beforehand not to write one.
If it's going to be a good review, I generally ask if they want one. Some do not for various reasons. This includes some well reviewed providers on here and what some consider higher tier providers. If it's going to be a negative review, I just do it. I don't plan on seeing the provider again anyways.
