I love anything from the Backstreet Boys (go ahead and laugh, but they've got some real talent)
Kelly Clarkson Pink (one awesome woman here! -- she got me hooked after her "stupid girls" song was released) Lady Gaga and online:Karmin (she has an awesome hair tutorial in case the ladies are interested in how to get rockstar curls)
Walk off the Earth The guy in the video (Sean Stephenson) is not a dwarf in the true sense. He is short, so he meets the criteria that way but really he has Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI), also known as Brittle Bones. His particular flavor of OI makes it so his bones are unable to support his body weight, forcing him in a wheelchair. Some people very close to me have it, and are reasonably healthy. Kid President has it too. It's why he's short. (you can see kid president in various casts in his videos, but you don't hear him talking about it much.) It's so great to see two people with such a rare condition living such positive lives. We all should realize how many "lotteries" we won just by being born at all, in America, with the advantages we have over others. Many many lotteries were won and we need to see it, celebrate it, and DANCE Allison, THANK YOU for this great reminder to enjoy life and dance
Listening to Pharrell Williams "Come get it bae" always puts me in a personal dance party type of mood, and tonight is no different lol. As I sashay around putting things away, I remembered this video a friend shared with me a while ago and decided to share it with you all. It's funny AND inspirational. Everyone needs to take a lesson from this guy.
So what is your "feel good" song? Or artist?

My grandmother made me memorize "If I only had a brain" when I was young and I still sing it from time to time. She said remembering it will keep me from taking things or myself too seriously.

Screaming Trees.... Grunge, again bring me back to my Boston College days. Wearing flannel, and long johns with shorts and don't forget the Doc Martins.

Depeche Mode..... Reminds me of a club my friend and I would go to when we lived in Montreal.
