I was a bit naive when I got into this biz, but this very helpful legal board taught me about the useless nature of the legal disclaimer--and several other things too.

I've been curious...

Why do many private websites include a disclaimer similar to "by entering I acknowledge I'm not LE" etc.

What court in this land is going to say "oh, you made an appt through the website but with this disclaimer, you shouldn't have". Do providers really think they're secure from prosecution??

I have also been informed by a convicted drug dealer that asking someone if they are a police officer (not a cop) is useless b/c police officers are allowed to lie.

It is best to just say as little as possible during sex session b/c I had a police officer take off all their clothes in front of me and I am now arrested and awaiting trial and the lawyer says that they can be naked if they want to b/c prosecuter can grant them immunity b/c entrapment laws no longer are valid

if someone is a lawyer, let me know
