I have been getting a lot of requests for appointments from gentlemen that are new to the hobby and don't have references.

I require that you send me a picture of yourself holding your picture ID, showing your full name but you can cross off your address.  I take that info that you send me and do some research to make myself feel comfortable in order to see you.  After I verify you I DELETE YOUR INFORMATION.

If you don't provide a picture ID, your full name is still required and I will require your work phone number and call to verify a doctor appointment.  If your company has a website, I will research the company on the web i.e. sunbiz.org to see if it is actually a legitimate company.

You can't expect a provider to see a gentleman who doesn't have a reference based on them telling you I'm not a cop, I swear lol.  Seriously?  Our safety is of utmost importance and the good ole days of believing someone just on their word are gone.

Gentlemen, what do you feel is necessary for you to give a provider in order for her to verify you and feel safe at the same time?

... or reviews on TER or another major board.

P411 would mean you have no okays as well, just verified strictly through P411.

if they are not willing to provide it. Though I have not and will not ever require a photo ID, I do require many other things and it is CLEARLY stated on my contact page along with my availability. Know what the real problem is? Guys don't fkin read once tits and ass are in their face lol.

Well let me ask this. Earlier this week I was asked to provide both my picture ID and work information after she already verified my P411 and TER approvals. Is this a little overboard or would anyone still ask this?

that generally only works in the town you live. When you travel, it is very difficult to get those guys to up info. every time. I am not saying she should change... I never begrudge any provider from doing what she has to do to feel comfortable about this, because is she feels anxious, the date is going to be a bust for both parties.  

I require work info in two instances: 1. In the town I live and work a regular job in so I can be assured it's not my boss or coworker contacting me, it's not my brother or one of his perverted friends (lol) or a former professor. 2. When they are totally new with no provider references.  

Damn right I am going to call you at work to make sure it's actually Joe Smith that works for IBM. I don't exactly say, "Hey, it's that crazy hooker London Rayne from TER checking to make sure it's you who sent me an email." I mean duh. I use google voice and say what would warrant a call to your company. If you're a doctor, I am a pharm rep. If you're an attorney, I am a paralegal with another firm. If you're a farmer, I need some fkin chicken!  

I guess clients just assume all providers are ignorant and that could be because many are, but give the rest of us a break. The LAST thing in the world  most want is to shake down a married man that is already paying us so we can be independent.  

It amazes me the amount of guys on TER and other boards who assume just because we banter back and forth for a few months, screening goes out the window.  Now, if I can see his handle and reviews that is one thing, but random aliases? Get fkin real. Funny how fast they disappear as soon as you mention screening. Why so scared to reveal your handle... what do you have to hide, dude?

I think it has to do with perceived vulnerability. Like stated on another link, we have so many secrets as hobbyists, secret cash stash, secret phones to contact you with, lies to explain where we go, secrets to have sex with other people that aren't our SO's, ect.
Then we are confronted with a dilemma to reveal our very lives that we try so hard to protect, when we meet, do you reveal your true identity with a photo ID? Fuck no! Some guys can get hooked up with a psycho bitch too, it may not happen as often as to the ladies, but it could.
Recently I read a very active hobbyists wife found out all about his hobbying, and she was threatening to contact every provider in his phone.
We put a lot of trust, both providers and hobbyists, in strangers we meet, it is still illegal for now. We don't want to lose our livelihood, our jobs and all the rest.
It's perception, I reluctantly give providers my personal info, but I have also passed on many opportunities because I just did not feel comfortable exposing my life for P4P! EO

Certainly understand the need to be safe these days. But there are limits to what information comes out to get verified. My concern is what happens to that info once it's out? God forbid you get picked up with all that info you collected. Then we get another huge bust like the one up north a few years ago.

I am talking about a freaking TER handle, not a social security number! Am I supposed to just see a damn alias with no information? Ha. Ok. If he can't even reveal his TER handle for screening, something is UP. I get protecting your family and work info. but a handle? Next...

I think London's approach is spot on. A girl would be irresponsible to see a client without assuring her safety. Personally I would not give out my personal information so I have a p411 account. I recently changed my TER handle but still have reviews they can see also. If that isn't enough for a provider then I will move on. It only happened to me once.- Allisa Labonne in NY--I was disappointed but did not give the info and did not see her.

Apparently, strict verification is the protocol for independent escorts. How about escorts from agencies? I've never called an agency so I don't know what they ask for if anything.

Psst, girls with pimps don't screen. Girls who have addictions don't screen. COPS DON'T SCREEN lol. Need I say more?

Now, agencies generally will work on an outcall basis for screening where they just ask for your name and room number and call the hotel to make sure Joe Smith is in room 7878. Does that prove you're not a cop? Nope. You have nothing to go on which is why you are running into trouble.  

Best advice is to get on Preferred411.com and let them screen you one time, and be done with it. That way the providers you see never have access to your info... just the P411 staff and it's tossed once you are verified.

London, my situation was that i was requested to provide references, work info, and a photo ID. I provided my TER info as well as P411 which has always been enough verification for those that use these services. Asked if that was sufficient and the response was that it only works for references. She still wanted work info and my photo ID. Most providers i have contacted take TER and P411 in lieu of these so i had thought it was a little over cautious. I cannot provide work info as I am self employed with no real way to verify.  Would not want to provide photo ID. The solution she provided was a lunch date so i did not have to send a picture of my ID to them

I think my post was taken as being directed towards a certain poster or the OP, and it was not ha ha. When I said "What do you have to hide, dude" I was speaking of a recent situation I had encountered right after asking for screening info. from a damn alias. All I wanted was the TER handle, which makes me think he was either A. An asshole in his reviews and did not want me to see them, or B. He was an asshole to me, and was trying to book me without me finding out about that.  

Funny part about your story and how naive that provider is... um, showing up equals intent so a lunch date is not screening. Had either of you been LE, you would have been arrested upon arrival not once your d(ck was in her mouth. That's the funny part about many provider's demanding all this info. and then they go and pull dumb shit like that. Yes, the case will be tossed out of court because nothing sexual happened and no money was exchanged; however, you will be cuffed, mug shot and fingerprinted. They know this, which is why you never see the clothes come off during a bust. Most always as the guys and gals are walking in the room, before anything even happens they are arrested.

I'm brand new here and share alot of the concerns listed above about photo ID etc. But I'm not a member of any of these sites til today with being on this one but that sounds like great advice about the P411 verification once. I look forward to getting that part past me as quite frankly it really worries us guys more than u girls realize. But at the end of the day both parties have to feel comfortable to get the max amt of enjoyment.
