I don't see a category for me.

It would have to be F), as in none your "F" ing  business. LOL

How much does your personal net worth need to be to consider oneself comfortable enough to enjoy the rewards this hobby offers, on a moderate basis?  I realize this may be relative, but let's say you want to spend 1K per month over 2-3 visits, you have no SO, no children, no alimony, no health issues, and finally no mortgage.  In my case my salary is smack dab in the center of what is considered middle class. Please do not include the Current value of primary residence.  I am trying not to sound nosy;  just want a feel for what a realistic personal net worth should be?  Finally plan on working 6 more years
A.  500K
B.  500K-$1 million
C.  $1million-$2 million
D.  $2 million-3 million
E.  > $3 million

I think you need more than some guesstimates from fellow hobbyists on this. Most likely our situations and life styles are different from yours.

Just plug in $1k a month for Entertainment expense when you do the math. There's a lot of other free resources out there.

Thanks Alan,  great calculators in this article.

Still The Governor, not a CPA!

(1) Save money by skipping annual physical exams. Strictly for suckers. If they "find" something they will want even more money to fix it.

(2)  Skip breakfast. It is a non-essential meal, and the amount of money you will save in only three years can pay for a full hour date with almost any BP girl.

(3)  Skip StarFucks to save even more money. Besides swilling as much free coffee from your office, stuff your pockets when no one is looking with the office coffee supplies and bring them home. If your office does not provide free coffee, visit a Motel9 every morning between 7am and 7:30am and grab their coffee to go. You can recycle the styrofoam cups as dinner bowls.

(4) If you have children, you have my condolences. But at least stop wasting money on new clothing every year. Let them be more creative by assembling "clothes" with foraged items such as duct tape and old trash bags.

(5) Don't waste money on TER. Just gin up about a couple of "reviews" each month for the free membership. E-Z Peasy, just copy and paste someone else's review from about ten years ago, and change "boobs" to "titties" and "nuts" to "the fellers".

Nowhere near destitute!

To answer your question more directly, I negotitate because I can. If people want to pay more than they have to, it's their dough, have at it.

(Note to Tobi: don't count this on my list of negotiation posts as BP brought this up.)

Tobi said she would fk me if I kept the number of my posts mentioning negotiating under 100 for 2015.  LOL

Currently I am at 98. :

I'm gonna have to consult the records on this one.

If I thought too much about this, I may cut down on the hobbying so I don't. I just really enjoy each new beautiful lady!

that Hawaii is a good place to be homeless.

Why do you and a few other hobbyists here have to remind us in every other post and brag? :D

...but he didn't have the cash on hand for Ginger or Mary Ann.  He couldn't shinny up the tree to get coconuts and barter with Mary Ann so she could make her famous coconut cream pies.  Gilligan was the tree-climber so he got Mary Ann's cream.

...they had a palatial thatch and bamboo hut to call home...

Around $2k/month. Usually with exceptional providers for 90-120 minutes. That is usually 2-3 exceptional ladies/month.

Rather, it's discretionary income, after all other necessary expenses are covered, that my hobby budget is part of.  While there are occasions where I splurge out of of short and mid-term savings on major hobbying/travel events, my ongoing activities at home are on a discretionary basis.  If you are still working and looking to retire in six years, you should make sure to fund your long term retirement account in full before hobby considerations.  If you have the where with all to fund a secondary account to cover luxuries such as hobbying in the interim, by all means!  Just recognize that there will be other considerations as well...just because you have no health problems at present doesn't mean that will be true a year from now.  Make sure to establish an emergency fund to cover you for six months just in case, if you haven't already.

BTW, not a Governor, but an accountant.

Hobbyists going to have PAID good time with all sex workers......

to spend $1k/month playing you need to earn about $2k before taxes at a total 50% tax rate so $24K/year.  To generate that income you would need $600K of investible assets (at 4%) just to support the habit.

I would think one's net worth would be irrelevant.  What's important is the cash flow, because I'll be honest, I make about twice the average household income in the US and even if I downsized and reduced my other expenses, I couldn't afford a grand a month.
