What's the deal with Date-Check? Long time member now access denied. I know they were changing format but WTF?

Last month the warning started popping up on date-check that members needed to transfer their membership to get access to date-check.net, and that the new site would go live on date-check.com on January 1. There was a link and procedure up to make this transfer, which I did. It took about a week.
I logged into the new site this morning. My membership works, but after a few minutes Firefox started giving me the message that date-check.com was configured incorrectly and that the site wasn't secure.
If you haven't transferred your membership yet, I'd try the contact info on date-check.net (email form and phone number). There should still be a procedure in place to transfer memberships, given how few have done it by the December 31 deadline.
I transferred my account a couple of weeks ago they also wanted me to pay for one year up front, which I did. Hopefully the new site is an improvement

No email was sent, but they dis have a pop up for couple weeks on their site before logging in
Kind kf sucks the new one... before we could post ads on message board free, now we have to pay for each city points just like p411z

I bought a lifetime membership a few years ago. They don't offer that anymore. The main issue now appears to be that not many provider accounts have been transferred over yet. We'll see how it goes.

Requested the transfer three times via "their" procedures... And nothing but empty emails in response.
I find this totally unacceptable way to due business... Especially since I have been a paying customer for more than 5 years.
More than 5 years!! Wow, that explains all the reviews you have given.
1. He is too lazy to write new reviews.
2. He is seeing a regular and she asked him not to write reviews.
3. He might have security reason not to write reviews due to some incidents in 2010, 2013, 2016.

The new datecheck site (and new owners) let lifetime members transfer their info over for a one time $20 charge. I did it a few weeks ago and had to figure out how not to pay the annual fee it wasn't apparent. So far it seems to work but a lot less content I guess because ladies haven't transferred over and all the retired ones aren't listed.
Can confirm. Did this yesterday, lifetime memberships have until 2/1/17 to get their account transferred, though the charge was between $30-$40.
If you are, send them an email through the contact page and indicate that you are/were a lifetime member and they should get you squared away. They say it's a manual intensive process to get lifetimes processed, but mine was done in about 30min.
Yeah, just did this now. Seriously, an email would have been nice, but I guess they're hoping to make a buck off the lifetime subscribers too.
There is absolutely no reason for a lifetime member to have to pay anything additional because date-check decided to screw up the site. Whoever is in charge now is disorganized and inconsistent. I have a lifetime membership and they didn't charge me to transfer. Mdphotographer below posted that he wasn't charged. The bottom line is the current management has devalued the site for everyone. I'm hearing providers lost lots of points that they used for ads and what not. Lots of us lost our OKs. How do you trust an outfit this screwed up that doesn't care about its members best interest? If I wasn't already a member I wouldn't trust them with my personal information now. People have been complaining about the new site from day one when both the new and old versions were both available. They forced the crap on us anyway. Why aren't they showing up on the escort boards to answer questions and discuss issues about the changes? Gina from P411 has on many occasions. It seems like the beginning of the end for D-C to me. Point them to this discussion and ask them why some lifetime members are being charged to transfer and others are not.

Just looked again couldn't find my OK's anyone who has been on the new site and found theirs let me know. My Favs and Groups are empty

The email I got back from them today (also a lifetime) is that the providers can see the Oks, we have to pay ~$20 so we can see them... I replied to the email asking to be transferred 3 hrs ago and nothing yet...
Anyone who can code, can make a script to transfer Oks, fav, etc...
Things are manual for the first 4 or 5, and then they write a script and end of story. Personally I think it just a way to get some money from the lifetime members..
So my OKs disappeared, but so did just about everyone that would care about an OK. If you do a provider search leaving the boxes empty, that nets you 390 provider profiles! For the entire country! Is that all that's left? If it is datecheck's days are numbered. That averages out to 8 providers per state! I don't know how you plan an improved site months in the making and come up with that. If you want everyone to go join P411 why not just say so?
@theTMAN Sorry your access was denied but you aren't missing anything. If you can't get them to transfer your membership to the new site I wouldn't bother signing up for a new membership yet. It's really that bad!

So I did the activation, only took about 6 hours to complete the activation. All of my verifications are there. Haven't had a chance to look at the rest of the site, but atleast the transfer is done. Props to them for the quick turnaround
For those of you that saw a pop up announcing this change, at what point did you get this message? Was it after you actually logged in? I used a bookmark that took me straight to the log in page and I swear that I never saw a pop up. I also restrict pop ups so if it was a separate pop up window as opposed to a new page it may have been suppressed.
I sent a comment and got a response that was a lot of BS. Told me what a great value they are and how they gave everyone adequate notice, and because I missed the deadline it would now cost me $39 to transfer my lifetime membership. I responded that if that's how they treat their long time clients I felt my money would be better spent on another verification service.
But I'm still curious about the pop up that I never saw. Any info would be appreciated.
I had been getting the popups since sometime in late November. I have a lifetime membership and emailed them to move my profile and they did, but I'm not happy. My the calendar and fan club functions are not there, so my "library" is pretty much starting over. On the plus side, my references are there and now show the date they were entered.
I emailed them about the missing features and have not heard back...hopefully it is a work in progress and they'll fix it?
Was it after you entered your user name and password, or was it before, maybe when you selected the log in page?
