You feel a little douchie bout yourself booking an escort in the first place and then when the phone is answered, it's a guy. Your first thought is (even if not accurate) that this guy is her bf or something and gets to fuck her for free. Now I have to make small talk with this guy who thinks I'm a loser (even if not accurate) and probably laughing cause he get's to fuck her for free AND gets part of the money I'm paying.
If a lady is really such a 'smart business person', they'll understand the nature of their client demo and even though they think its silly, have a female answering their phone.That, or continue to think you're so awesome that the guys paying you should 'get over it' and lose business from it down the line.
Double standard? Maybe. But I can't think of one successful agency in ATL, whether male owned or female owned, that doesn't have females answering the phones. There's a reason they do that, think about it.
