How would one validate their contact info? I mean, how can one be sure that the ad is really for the pornstar it claims to be advertising?

There have been a couple of girls I've been in contact with that have asked for a deposit, so I didn't go through with it out of concern that it was a scam.  

Any suggestions?

there are posts about Brianna Love and Gianna Michaels on another board.  I don't think I can post the links because they are competitor sites.

But the scammers are advertising on Backpage.  Contact is through an email address [email protected] or [email protected] and you will be corresponding with her assistant.

You will be asked to send a deposit by purchasing a Paypal gift card at 7-11, Target, Walmart, etc.  The assistant will ask you to scratch off the back to reveal the code, take a picture of the back of the gift card and code with your cellphone and send that picture to the assistant through the "datebriannaluv", "dategiannamichaels" email address.

After the deposit has been taken from the gift card, the assistant will then schedule an appointment through email, no phone numbers are given.  Then, shortly before the scheduled appointment, the assistant will email you and say that the pornstar is sick and you will need to reschedule.   Of course if you reschedule, more excuses will be given until you give up.

Someone posted screenshots of the ads on the other board.  I will see if I can post those.  The format of the Brianna Love and Gianna Michaels ads are exactly the same

You can use this site to validate. If a provider has reviews done from active hobbyists that's one way to tell. Contact those hobbyists too. Another site allows girl's ad to be validated by requiring them to provide a photo ID and a picture of them holding it. It the price seems to good to be true .... it is. These fake ads are advertising these girls as $400 when they typically are $1,200 and up.

I spoke with someone on the phone who got scammed this way. They were even given a hotel and room number to go to. Thankfully no one was in that room when he showed up knocking.

This person reported the incident to the PayPal and his bank. Hopefully this will shut them down.

Please ... if you see one of these fake ads report it!! Its just a simple click to do so.

So I literally just bought the PayPal card and was about to send it back to "Gianna's" assistant and then thankfully I stumbled upon this thread before I could send it. So same exact number is being used to this Scam. How is this still going on? Also Nina, what performers do you provide assistance for? So glad I saw this thread. But really did have my hopes up to see Gianna, that would have been awesome.

The Gianna ad is making the rounds of the North Carolina BP sites now, so be warned.
