A lot depends on where you are staying. If by the airport, you can usually get a pretty good steak at The Packing House. Milwaukee Steakhouse on Bluemound and 62nd is also good. If downtown, plenty of good steakhouses, but Mo's is reliable. As for jazz, I suggest a google search.
Pfister Hotel downtown has a class steakhouse (often with light jazz music in the lounge area late afternoons/evenings) and a killer cocktail bar on the top floor.
Jazz - take a cab up to the Jazz Estate just north of downtown. They have a oood stable of regulars. Their calendar is online: Apr 1: 9:30pm Kevin Hayden Trio Apr2: 10pm The Erotic Adventures of the Static Chicken (locals).
I must say Milwaukee is a cool town. I kinda wish I came in mid winter. I was thinking I'd be on the slopes right now !!! Whoops was I ever wrong !!
Has anyone been to the local casino here ? It looks cool from the highway with the lights shinning bright . Lol Today my mission is to find a succulent steak to fill my belly !
