I've been wondering lately what other hobbyists use as excuses to get out of the house.  I've got a night appointment with a lovely lady on Thanksgiving....what would be a good excuse to get out of the house for 90 minutes?

Aside from the fact that sneaking off after Thanksgiving dinner is a little gnarly. You could try something like early Black Friday shopping, or sale on compressors at home depot. Visiting a lonely friend who recently got dumped, would work but would require you to field a lot of questions so write a short story in your mind about your visit. Is it hunting season yet? lots of possibilities, but depending on levels of scrutiny keeping your story straight is important, never supply too many details.
