My thoughts on this may be different than some, I'm coming from the mindset of someone who has worked in many aspects of the adult industry (the hobby is one of them) and has had this conversation with escorts, adult movie performers, directors, cam girls, dancers, adult studio and website owners, adult industry lawyers, and those who partake. I've helped many ladies either get started or improve their business...on their request. I've also never had an STD.
First...doctor visits after a BB visit do not prevent anything. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. They are not a safety measure. By the time you get to the doctor and get the test results back (the cheap quick tests are not reliable), you already have been intimate with you SO, possibly other BB providers and have protected no one in the situation. The only thing a doctor can tell you is you got lucky...this time. If she's having BB with you, she's having it with others. No matter how she makes you feel, you're not special, your money is. Many providers offer BB because they think it will improve their business. If they advertise on the right low end sites, it will...temporarily.
Adult film performers do not do BB without a recent clean test. If I ever showed up on a set with no test or a negative test (regardless of dis ease), my ass would be sent home immediately with attitude because every performer knows better. I've seen one of the biggest names of my time get sent home over an expired test. If the people who are providing you with adult entertainment are taking dis ease that seriously, you should too. I personally tested before coming back into the hobby and I am back to testing every month. The only time I've heard of sick performers working is when they have the same dis ease and their test shows it or their married.
There's a difference in the quality of tests. If I ever showed up on set with the typical quick test from a doctor or a home test, I would have been sent home with the same attitude. Performers know better. The test I get is a few hundred dollars but my health, which I've worked hard for a lifetime to maintain, trumps all.
In the past I've had people assume that if they got tested and were clean on the day of the test, I would oblige. Some performers and escorts offer this. I find it to be risky as a person is only clean on the day of the test. If his objective is to get BB then chances are many ladies have seen that test and provided BB. I've had a few just show up with a test, never having spoken to me about it. One guy got really mad because he claimed to have paid for it just to see me. It's not good to assume. I sent him on his way with a few referrals to ladies that do provide such service.
I believe in freedom so I won't sit here and judge anyone for doing BB, to each their own. We're all adults and unless you have lived under a rock, we all know the risks we take.
I do notice more BB advertised. I've always told ladies who you see will become your regulars. If you see a bunch of guys wanting BB, that's what you will get. If you don't screen, expect a shit storm. If you don't want to lower your rates, don't see the guys who want you to. If you don't want drugs in your sessions, don't see those looking for a party girl. Only see the clients you want to see again, treat them like royalty, always thank them (no one has to see any of us!) then never speak of them again unless giving a reference. Be trustworthy, use nice in call locations and keep them clean, deliver as advertised, keep pictures current, don't rush, judge or mistreat them. Really listen and make mental notes so the next time you meet you're better able to cater to him. What we put out into the world will come to us...that's how we find our tribe even if it's a hobby tribe. BB is never necessary.
To the lovely ladies out there...You NEVER, and I mean NEVER have to offer this. I never have. Now that I'm an OG in the game, I'm thankful I didn't! There are other ways to create a memorable experience.
