I've been in the hobby going on a year now and have had some great experiences so far, and look forward to many more. The only thing is I fear my options continue to dwindle due to the dreaded "No AA" tag that's all too prevelant. Some even stressing "No exceptions". I've been fortunate enough to find more accepting providers in any case, but I still can't help but feel a bit stigmatized.  

I'm going to try to respond to your question the best way I know how, and this will be speaking from my personal life experiences with provider friends who do not see "AA". I think it's bullshit but everyone is entitled to see who ever they want and not see whoever they want. I have met many providers who choose not to see AA some for different reasons than others but a lot of the time when I would ask these friends  why they don't see AA men they would say because they had a bad experience with a AA client either shorting them robbing them or been too rough and rude also I've been told that because their boyfriend or husband etc. is AA they won't see AA due to the significant other not feeling comfortable with them seeing other AA men (jealousy,safety,or insecurity reasons). I've also been told that they just aren't attracted to AA men. So I don't think there is any one real reason or answer as we all have different personal preferences. I don't necessarily understand it or think it's fair but hey what can you do about it. I don't think trying to talk someone in to seeing you and trying to convince them your safe is a good idea either. They might take it as a red flag situation and feel annoyed or  irate with you. My suggestion would be to just simply not contact providers that advertise "No AA". Save yourself the trouble and hassle and see one of us lovely ladies that do!

Yes, Sexy Vixen hit the nail on the head, as when I have asked other's why they have this preference, the answer varies quite a bit- with the reasons that Vixen gave being the most prevalent. And as she stated, if this is there preference, trying to sway them to see you otherwise may do more harm than good (especially with those who like to blacklist guys for just not following their "rules"...I think THOSE providers should be blacklisted, lol). But, I personally usually never see anyone under the age of 30-35, because I have found that the reasons Vixen listed (rude, rough, haggling/negotiating, shorting them, etc) are more prevalent in the under 27ish age range...no matter the gents race.

Unfortunately many girls have been placed in unfortunate situations seeing some AA gentlemen. A quick rundown from the girls who I've chatted with between pops:

Personally, I've never understood the "NO AA" trend however, I don't fault a provider on her choices.  I've been in the hobby almost 10 years and I can honestly say there isn't a thing a guy could do to make me eliminate an entire race...that's a lot of clients!!  If I didn't see someone because someone else of their race did something bad I would feel I'm blaming an entire race for the actions of one person.  I would also eliminate almost all races.  Their are not so bright people in every race.  

I haven't come across it as much in Wisconsin, but I'm touring Minneapolis this week, and I swear that at least half of the ads here say no black men! I don't understand it! I've only seen a couple black guys in this hobby (civvie life is a different story hehe ) and they have been nothing but perfect gentlemen.

I think everyone handles bad experiences differently. I have had some bad situations early on, but they were never with the AA men; but with white, Italian, and middle eastern men (robbed, beaten up, attempted rape, attempted kidnapping/held against my will). But like you stated, personal responsibility- you cannot put an entire race of individuals into one box based of the actions of one or a few individuals. There are bad seeds in EVERY race and age group, and references help a great deal (ALL my bad experiences happened before I was aware of what references were).

I understand the claims however, it still makes no sense to me.  Not every AA man is a thug, some of my best clients through the years have been AA men.  Every reason listed here to not see AA men aren't just an AA risk, their all risks of doing what we do regardless of race.  I do my homework and avoid high crime areas...for the records, there are people of EVERY race living in high crime areas.  I look at the facts of the location, NOT the race of the people there.
