I visit DC from time to time but have never visited anyone in Tysons Corner.  I don't have a car when I am in DC.  How difficult is the trip to and back?  What's the best way to do so?  Are some times to be avoided due to traffic?

Easiest way might be just metro on the Silver or Orange line then take Uber or a cab to something close to where you would be meeting the lady. Usual rush hour times will be crowed on the streets and depending on where the location is and where you need to hop off the subway you might need to add 30 minutes to the trip. Maps probably will give you a good estimate of time to destination, but you'd need to make an adjustment for the time to get a ride scheduled and picked up as well.

Outcalls are too expensive. More options available for incall anyway.

Didn't follow you.

I meant to say there are a lot more options for incalls in Tysons than booking an outcall to DC.

7a-10a, going into DC; 3p-7p, leaving DC, are times to avoid.  You're a reverse commute.  Metro is fine, but is much longer ride.  Do a lunchtime appointment and you'll be fine either way to take an uber/lift.

if you are visiting DC you staying in a hotel? its easier for many of us to visit you than us book a hotel just to see you lol

Avoid rush hour, especially later in the evenings whenever primary/secondary school is in session.

Worst times coming through the beltway — between 5:30/6am-7:30am and 4:30/5pm-7pm during the week.

Same with riding the subway. Crowd-wise, mornings would  save you from harassment and screaming from the kids.

The drive is an easy 45 minutes without traffic. On the train, the trip feels about the same if there aren’t any single trackings due to repairs or any closures. Depending on where you are you might have to switch lines. Otherwise the metro system is pretty straightforward.

I have had the best of luck using Dayuse and Hotelsbyday in Reston for making convenient metro-friendly check ins as early as 6am. They are first come, first serve and most can be paid with by cash.

Tyson’s  hotels are fairly metro friendly, but for providers they can be difficult to access with such high room rates. Going for $400 a night or more.

McLean is only a few blocks away and their hotels are quite nice without the exorbitant prices. You might have to walk a bit and navigate any walkway blockages/construction.

I’ve often asked if they’re interested in an outcall and a surprising number have said yes, even at their in call rate.

I prefer outcalls too.. as a matter of fact my outcall is lower than my incall.
