What we can do (And it's pretty simple) is dig around and find the people effected by the scammers (Models, publishers, and photographers), and their anger and subsequent action by those effected will help us begin to solve the problem.
Just like someone suggested, it's like playing "Whack-A-Mole" when outing frauds in the DC area. When frauds are outed they change their name or even become another girl (as far as different pictures of different women are concerned). Here are some newly advertised ones and some outed, but still around.
That's my Whack-A-Mole for the second week of June. It's not difficult to out these scammers who falsely use model pics purporting to be them. As others have obviously done, find the publications, photographers, models or whoever owns the copyright to the model photos and contact them. It's not hard and this process works.
