Emailed a visiting provider one morning to set up an afternoon appointment. Confirmed, then she told me she was at the Archer hotel in the Tysons area. I’ve been there before; it’s in a desolate area with no street parking. The hotel garage is valet parking, which is a nonstarter with my stick shift car. Sorry I replied; I can’t see you.

Before I answer your question, FYI there is some parking in the metro lot right behind the Archer in Tysons. I used a parking spot there the one time I met a provider at that Archer and it worked out really conveniently.

Now to answer your question, yes, I've canceled based on hotel choice. I pretty much refuse to go to that dump off of Sp**** Hi** R* anymore. It's just way too sketchy. Last time a provider wanted to meet there I straight up canceled once she told me the location.

And I won't cancel if ladies use the place off of We****** Ce*** D*, but I really do hate it. The first time I was scheduled there was with JM, and I almost canceled once I got there. But I went through with the session for various reasons (and glad I did because it was actually with one of JM's rare gems).

(I censored the road names myself so they don't show up in searches.)

Because I saw a familiar car in the parking lot and didn't want an awkward meeting. Hotels that host work conference makes me nervous.

There are two agencies that use one of the locations you reference and regardless of the number of great reviews I may see for their girls I just won't book there.  Those two agencies alone have 3-5 girls working at any given time and there are others who occasionally use the same location.  That is a LOT of traffic and all coming and going at the top of the hour or at half hour intervals.  There is absolutely no discretion there and I can't believe it hasn't gotten busted yet or others getting busted by running into people they know.

Can't even guess what those street names are. Certainly not any places I've been to.

I've never cancelled because of the hotel. I always find myself going to one of the same 5 or 6 hotels.

To each his own, no judgement. But, the Archer Hotel is fantastic. Basic rooms are large with oversized windows.  The lobby bar has great food and drinks. Only downside is that the lobby and lobby bar are contiguous and wide open. Discretion will walking to the elevators could be concerning. Self parking does require some effort.

I don't think anyone should be naming hotels in an open forum. Feel free to PM me if you're interested in my take.

People with this mentality make such shitty clients lol. "Gee babe I'm attracted to you, but I'm going to pass on having an intimate encounter with you because I don't like the parking over here. No I can't host in my shitty hovel and I'm too cheap of a bastard to provide a nice venue myself :( "

Jesus fucking christ lol. What is it about Tysons Corner and stupid men?

I don't see many people, so my clients usually pick the hotel of their choice & I book it on their behalf.

Several years ago an independent was visiting DC.  I had a two hour meeting booked.  The day before I'm told the hotel location.  I replied right away and said I can't go to that hotel.  I work a lot in DC and that area only has street parking.  I can't take the chance of having my car spotted by someone I knew and asking why I was in the area.

Hotel locations matter which is also why Tysons is better.  Majority of all the hotels there are free parking and no questions asked at the lobby.

I consider the overall location and distance.
If I know the address, I can work around any sketchiness.
The Archer is right on the Metro line. That's my ideal; not having to drive and put a vehicle at risk. There's also parking in nearby blocks and it's a low crime area.
I am in Montgomery County and some providers set up in suburban hotels. Parking may be free there, yeah, but nothing prevents LE from setting up in the parking lot and watching mongers come and go in brief intervals...
I had an appt. once in an Arlington high rise and a clipboard-wielding building manager was prowling the halls and we made eye contact a couple of times when the provider did not come promptly to the door. I bailed.
