Hi- would anyone know if waldorf Astoria in DC requires a keycard for elevator access? Feel free to reply here or DM. Thank you!

I didn't know there was a Waldorf Astoria in DC.

Try calling them and asking. I'd say that I have a visit booked and will be having a business meeting in my room and need to know if my co-workers can just come upstairs easily.

This was the old Trump Hotel......and the Old Post Office

Just a heads up, you need a card to access this hotel - room.
Sometimes a bellman will escort you to your room, which can be a bit overwhelming. I've been there before with a client, we were checking in as a  couple. The bellman guided us through the elevator, showed us to our room, and even opened the door for us. Later, a housekeeper arrived with extra towels, and then, about 10 minutes later, we received a call to check if everything was to our liking. It felt a bit excessive.

Maybe it was the person I was with and they wanted to give extra attention... dunno.. felt a bit too much.

I did a photoshoot there and it was the same situation (that time was under the diff owner).
