I have been looking for a hotel for a Saturday night getaway this weekend, and can usually find a very nice room for very little money on the weekends. However, I was noticing that prices are atypically high this weekend, implying more demand than supply. After exploring a bit on the web, I see there is a military conference in DC this weekend with 26,000 attendees.
So my question to you ladies out there: do big conferences (where many or most attendees are men) yield lots of clients? And if so, what types of conferences are the best for business? Do the out-of-town clients have different expectations than our local men? Thanks, just interested in your perspectives on this.
