What I mean by this statement is that do you expect from providers when it comes to updating pictures.

How often should a lady update her pictures? Once a month, every three months, every six months, every year?
What is most suitable for the typical hobby constituent?

I know of a lady who has been in business over 4 years and has never changes her pictures. In contrast, I have heard of ladies using photoshopped pictures and is several pounds  heavier than the advertisement.

What are your thoughts on this?

Most important is that the pictures accurately reflect the lady.  It's very disappointing to have the anticipation of meeting someone for the first time and suddenly realize that they don't look anything like the pictures that they shared prior to the meeting.

How often should the lady update the pictures?  No good answer for that one.  But at a minimum when once again the old photos are no longer accurate.  Other than that, to me one of the lures of this hobby is the fantasy aspect and a lady's photos are an important visual aspect of that.  So seeing new ones posted certainly 'catches my eye', are appealing to me, and influence my decision on whether or not to contact her about meeting.

Probably about yearly at a minimum. More often if there are changes.

I understand the pro shots are an investment, so as long as they are representative, I'm fine. That's why casual/candids are good for the more up-to-date photos.

I agree with Beefeater. Especially today, we are in a visual culture - wherein images and sound bytes and word descriptions are limited to character counts - when attention-span's are assaulted with numerous sensory blips.... keeping it real is kinda good marketing practice. IMHO

Well, more than once, I relied more on recommendations of trusted reviewers where pictures were not particularly exsiting to my taste - and it worked really well!

One of those cases is a well known and loved provider who just recently left our area - in photos, she invariably comes out chubby. But not in person!..

Still, it is sure good to have some general idea!

Not really!  If I'm horny I'll go for a provider with consistently good reviews!

The more of my senses you can stimulate the more attracted I may be to you. An honest picture is worth 1,000 words and can provide the stimulation necessary to inspire me to schedule an appointment.

With regards to the original post, yes pictures matter in that they have to represent what we will see.  There is nothing that ticks me off more as a client than to walk in and the lady does not look anything like her picture.
