here they are by my favorite providers past and present in no particular order:
Amy of DC:
You Picked A Fine Time To Leave Me Lucille Queen of Hearts - Juice Newton Brahms Symphony #2 (I hope she doesn't DNS me for this! LOL! look under JYY below for the meaning of it)
Samantha of Rockville: The Protecting Veil - John Taverner Superstition - Album, Siouxsie and the Banshees Turandot - Puccini Sibelius Symphony #5 (happy but complex)
Jessie Yum Yum Margaritaville - Jimmy Buffett Every Breath You Take - Police I'd Be Surprisingly Good For You - from Evita ALSO Brahms Symphony #2 (i.e. simply happy)
Lauren Haze Start Me Up - Rolling Stones Tambourine Man - Bob Dylan
Aside from those ladies who get me thinking about and remembering particular pieces of music there are others with happy associations as well.....
I had the priviledge of being able to visit with Lucia Lyn, with TGND, in early December and it was an incredible experience for me. When I was with her I felt as though she was "MY" girlfriend, we had been apart and that she dearly missed me while I was gone. (That is the GFE fantasy I was looking for.)
As I continue to read her reviews from others a song keeps coming to mind. LOL
Dixie Chicken by Little Feat
I have to laugh when I get into the 3rd verse;
"...Then one night in the lobby of the Commodore Hotel I chanced to meet a bartender who said he knew her well And as he handed me a drink he began to sing a song And all the boys there at the bar began to sing along
If you'll be my Dixie Chicken, I'll be your Tennessee Lamb And we can walk together down in Dixieland Down in Dixieland"
All I can do is smile and wait until I have recovered from my surgery so that I can try and get on her schedule.
