I am OK with giving gifts, if you want. But you are over thinking this, and putting more effort into this than you would put for your wife or girl friend.

Reality check. She ain't your girl friend.  You hire her, for an hour or two, for sex.

Since you can't make your own decision, let me make one for you. Give her a gift card or something and get it over with.

It's a business transaction.  Chances are that you are nothing special to your ATF, just another client.  Don't knock yourself out trying to figure out a good Xmas gift, not worth the effort.  I've had a lot of ATF that disappear after a short period of time without notice so don't get too attached.

How easily that we forget...

That human beings are involved. I am sure that she will love whatever you pick out.
What matters is the thought and intention. As for the negative comments;
id call it selfish self-projection! Have an extra naughty holiday and good luck with your gift sweetie

So the hobby was new to me this year, from randomly calling numbers on Back Page in January and getting ripped off on a nice, regular basis to finding TER eventually and coming to the fascinating realization that I, he of the genre middle-aged-male-homosapien, can actually have sex with exceptionally beautiful and intimate young women.  Ya it still makes me giddy as a schoolgirl, so what?



This now begs the question of just what the hell am I supposed to get an ATF for Christmas?  To wit, I already pay her 150% of her going rate and have done so since our first date (just left the difference in the soap dish in the bathroom that 1st date).  I want her to understand she is not not my favorite provider, but my lover and 1st true mistress.  So cash seems not only redundant but way too impersonal.  Gift cards?  Kinda my calling card with these ladies anyway.  Both of my ATFs travel to DC, so there is always some kind of gift card in the envelope for some kind of comfort item - national pizza chain so they can call in comfort food, music downloads, etc.  So again, that just seems like something she would be getting from me anyway.

Top shelf lingerie?  A wonderful idea for sure but who really benefits from that one?  It is like when Ralph Cramdon bought Alice a new bowling ball for her birthday and had it pre-drilled to fit his fingers.  Ya, like that.

And yes I asked her what she wants/needs.  Her response was true to her nature, she is as unselfish out of the bedroom as is she in the bedroom.  A simple "I love surprises, surprise me!" was the response when she knew she could have asked for the moon.

So anything creative out there guys?  Or better yet, ladies, anything that you truly enjoyed receiving from a customer?

Call me old fashion (I am in my 50s) but I just hate the idea of giving cash or gift cards as gifts.  Since when people have started doing that I have no idea but I just don't like giving or receiving them as a gift.  Although I don't mind someone giving me free money just not as a gift for my birthday or whatever that special occation is.  

As for whether you should buy gifts for a pvovider, I say yes and I do it all the time.   If you know her well which seems to be the case here  from your post you should know what she likes and what to get her.  Normally, you can't go wrong with one od these brands like Chanel, Tiffany, LV, Gucci, Burberry, De Beers.  Not all but most women like their handbags and jewelry.  If you have no clue and don't want to take a chance, get her a Xmas card and a plush teddy bear.

....I suspect the very reason that many men get into this hobby in the first place is because they are either afraid to open up to a women emotionally or they have done so in the past and gotten burned.  In any case, I choose not to deny myself the satisfaction associated with an emotional connection.  

Moving right along.....

Found inspiration on the road trip from my home up north back to my home in the district.  It's all good - I am fairly certain we will have a very happy girl on our hands.



Gift cards and cash just weren't going to cut it for a Christmas gift.

Good question - I'm either a romantic or a fool or no doubt some of both, but for my ATF (we celebrated Christmas late last week) I go her a blouse from Thomas Pink, another from Burberry, an elegant yet comfy at-home nightshirt, a set of top and bottom nightwear from Agent Provocateur for other ocassions, and a big bowl of candy that, oh, also had 5 gift cards in it, one each  from Victoria's Secret, Sephora, J. Crew (one of er favorite places), an art supply store (she's an artist), and tongue-in-cheek even one from Bed Bath & Beyond (hey everybody needs new towels and dishes once in a while, right?).  Oh, and the usual gift.  Hey, she's my ATF, I want to see her get where she wants to get, and enjoy the journey along the way

You have to do what you want to. I haven't really connected with anyone for a while but have in the past. OTC meetings etc and I felt gifts were appropriate. But as others said they suddenly disappeared and that's par for the course. Just so you're prepared.
