did the fire wipe out The Block?

Latest on the source of the Baltimore Block fire.

Quotes from story:
"The five-alarm fire is believed to have started in a video peepshow enclosure — Yellow Booth No. 8"... "It was set by human hands," said Deputy Fire Chief... "What's not determined is the intent of the person."

Obviously, what happened is that in the heat of the moment the friction cause by the "human hands" was too great and the fire ignited spontaneously. Just like rubbing two sticks together (when done quickly enough).

Where have you been?  this has been all over the news.   Do a google search or even search this board the last week and a half.     But the fire started in the building mentioned  in the article.  It is across from the Hustler and at the Northwest end.   That building and the one next to it are in sad shape.   The bars across the street are fine

Someone else from this board was going to lead a group up there.  Not sure if they made it there---or made it back----but maybe they will be able to give you a first person narrative.
