I left (or got fired, semantics really) a 70 hour/week job that was supposed to be "fulfilling" and pocket-filling, but just made me miserable. After that I had a TON of downtime....and here I am on TER! So far, I've loved (almost) every second of this job, and I'm glad I made the decision to dive right in. And it's teaching me tons of things - reinforcing the business management background I already have, discipline (I hated answering emails before....now it's kind of the difference between PBJ for lunch and real food), emotional intelligence, compassion, the list could go on.
It's funny how pursuing the things you think you want (job stability, passion for my job), can lead you so far away from those goals. And also funny how the places you never thought you'd be in (like.....here), end up being the most instructional positions.
Wow, that was really philosophical. Time for bed, clearly!
I am contemplating oh just how to incorporate these 20-principles into the advice I give to my clients - daily. Send them a link to the website? A link on my website? A header on my emails?
Yeah Ernie I agree. Many excellent tenets to follow in life....My kids should have this list!

These are all things that come to you in due time, as you mature and experience life- definitely, getting married in my 20s was a mistake- I wore timberland boots to work in an office job;wtf did I know about life? Lo
