they are usually 25 to 35 years old. They don't like young guys. but not too old either. As long as you pay them a lot and tip them well, they probably wont care

I've always thought that the "x/2 + 7" formula posted earlier was for civvie relationships (where the guy is presumed to be the older), but hey, maybe it works in the hobby world as well.
In my hobby career I've seen those ranging from 11 older than me to 24 younger than me. I'm not sure I would go that young again, thinking that I could have kids her age. These days I think I would stick to 15 younger to 5 older. But if both parties are comfortable, why not; go for it.
When I contact a provider, I've already decided that I am comfortable with her age, also I will always disclose my age range, so that she can make the determination of whether that would be a factor.
My steadfast rule is no one younger than my daughter (who is 23) ... That would be creepy for me! Otherwise no strict formula, just my preference for 25 or above, and late 20s / early 30s is where I normally land, which is about half my age. I'm nice, healthy and fit, and I've never felt that a provider felt I was "too old." (maybe they just hide it really well

Most likely every provider has their limits but I think this is more of an issue with clients than the providers. I think the ladies are more concerned with personal hygiene and respectful treatment than a rock-hard ignorant @#$@!
Now if you like formulas hears one a lady told me:
If it's a male escort with a lady client then 20 (M) goes into 60 (F) 3 times.
Whereas:
A 60(M) client only goes into a 20(F) escort with 3 cialis.
My absolute ATF is in her early 40's, and I've also seen some wonderful ladies around that same age. However, I've also had some phenomenal experiences with ladies who weren't yet legal to drink. Generally, I prefer a slim, reasonably taut body (I love runners), and as long as she's reasonably fit, I don't sweat age too much. True, I pass by ads for providers over 50, but those are rare anyway.
I could give you the "PC" answer and claim that age does not matter as long as you are clean / nice / respectful, etc, but let's be honest instead... I'm 26 years old (yes, my real age!). If I were to receive an appointment request from someone in his 70's, do you think I would agree to see him? No, I wouldn't, because no matter how nice, polite, respectful and clean he may be, he is still the age of my grandpa, and to me that is definitely in the "creepy territory." There is no way I could pretend to be interested, regardless of the financial incentive. I'd much rather see someone I'm actually attracted to, because going against the laws of nature does not work in the long run.
I've talked to many women in this business, and most in their 20s felt that men in their 50's or below were their ideal clients. Those in their 30s seemed to have drawn the line at 60s, and those in their 40's seemed more comfortable with men all the way up to their 70's, etc., but of course there will always be exceptions to the rule...
I think that if one finds that he is either turned away by women of a certain age when requesting an appointment, or that the ladies are "distant" with him, it may be time to reconsider the age gap. I've seen many reviews claim that the woman (who had a lot of great reviews prior to that one disappointed one) was very "reserved" or "standoffish" with someone, and the reviewer wondered why. Upon requesting a reference from the lady in question, I often found that he was 3x her age and while she tried to be professional, she couldn't act interested. I don't blame her. (Of course there are many other reasons for not clicking with someone, but this one seems to be pretty common).
It is hard to give an exact number, but I think the x2+7 rule is a good one to follow. For example, I am 26, so by that rule my "match" should not be older than 59. That's about right, as with a few exceptions (Michael Douglas comes to mind, hehe) I have never found myself attracted to men in their 60s, or god forbid any older. I'm sure that will change 10+ years from now, but until then I'd rather stay with the 25-60 age group both in my private life and in my escorting adventures. That still includes about 70% of men looking for companionship, so I don't feel like I am ruling out too many prospective dates, and my mental well-being is definitely much more important than maximizing profits. Just my 2 cents, but I bet some other ladies would agree...

Saw a specific provider for 3rd time in maybe 6 weeks this morning (damn I should have married a women who wakes up horny) and was giving her a back rub before leaving. She asked me how old I was, and when I replied honestly she stated "oh, that's my mom's age".

Anyone that young should not be in this profession. Not because they aren't smart or beautiful, but because I believe it limits other aspects of their life later and they are more easily corrupted by the money, and will often abandon other life dreams in exchange, although I do understand the young working girl who is a single Mother.
I used to read the reviews of a hobbiest on another board who I had met at a M&G, and he was probably in his early to mid 60's. His thing was young girls and I grimaced when I would read his reviews wondering how that girl really felt being with a man old enough not only to be her father, but her grandfather. A bit too much diet coke today, for that cheesy title, ok, but I never looked at older guys before. Now, they're the sexiest things ever!!!
