It sounds to me like the girls have the energy and desire to earn those high marks.  They have to be aware that they are opening themselves to this criticism.  But I haven't seen anything but gowing reviews so far, even before this promotion.

Does anyone (other than me, that is) feel that this is an example of buying reviews?

I dont know but i have given up on them. I have sent an email to 2 of the ladies but neither one has returned my email. I'm skipping the 'sorority girls' for now.

It strikes me that it is a gimmick.  The part that is most disturbing is the degree of boasting that goes on about trying to "outdo" one another.  The image that comes to mind is not customer service, but trying to run through as many guys in one day (or one night) as possible.  At my age, I prefer quality over quantity.  Bet that will get some reaction!

Maybe they saw the post below and don't want to see too many clients per day.

true...

but i'm finding it difficult to make an appointment... i get the impression this may not be a long lasting thing for these girls.. So I'd get in while the getting is good! But i am close to my "give up" point since the screening process appears to be a real burden!

The economy sucks so anything that helps stretch the hobby budget is OK by me. Especially when I found out the any reviews I posted during the SOBE contest counted for SR points.  You have to admit the gals found a way to gain market share in a tough business.  I have seen several of the gals and never had aa problem scheduling a session, emails usually responded to within a day.

As long as these hot young ladies keep running specials I will keep seeing them. The true test will come when the specials end, will they still attract clients?

It doesn't matter to me if they're "buying reviews" or not.  It's simply savy marketing to me by working the system well within its boundaries.  They've done all the Marketing 101 stuff - created a brand and established brand preference and demand - and from their reviews, they've delivered the "goods" as well - simple as that.

I hope to meet several of them sooner than later.

Since you don't mind them buying reviews, are you comfortable that the reviews are unbiased?  After all, since the girls seem to travel in a pack, wouldn't it be in a guy's best interest to practice the art of grade inflation in exchange for special seating?

Just a thought.

and when LE busts them and finds your info on their computer, that misdemeanor now becomes a felony.  :-(

Now I am no legal expert but I am rather certain that it is not a crime for someone have your contact information on a computer.

But you when you get a discount for a review and your info is on a computer or journal, you're going to be investigated. Ask some of the Phoenix hobbyists.

So what! They are not asking you to give them 10 10.  They just want a review.  Many providers offer discounts or discounts for TER menbers with X or more reviews.  What's the difference?  Enjoy these young ladies.

a board member or a review.

Verification service members are sometimes offered a discount.

For a member of any board or service the discount might be a way of expressing a buy down of risk to the provider. For a review it seems more like a bribe to write a review. The latter is not a buy down of risk but an advertising buy.

Very different....

It and the previous campaign are very vigorous marketing efforts. That makes me uncomfortable enough to prefer to pass.
