I would have loved to see her -- just the type I like; but have an appointment with a local provider I have been trying to see for a while, won't break the appointment on such short notice.  When will she be back in DC?

I'm sorry, sometimes it's a last minute plan. Next time I'll try to put out as much notice as possible.
