Why no agency references?

For the last few years, I have been able to consistently rely on two agencies to fulfill my hobbyist needs.  Recently, however, I was intrigued by what I read about an independent lady, so I tried to set up an appointment.  I could comply with her verification procedures...with one exception.  She wanted at least 2 references -- but not from agencies! Why not?  Ladies, help me understand.
P.S. My ATF agency brought on lots of new talent recently, so it's not like I'm stuck in limbo :)

Here I could understand why the provider wants a direct refrence. Lets say that you book a session with an agency girl and all goes well, or so it seems. The agency will take it as if all went well because there was no incident you showed up, paid and left on time. However, the girl may have found you to be unfriendly, stinky, clumsy, and/or downright ugly. Despite all these negatives the girl still did her job went through the session holding her breath and closing her eyes. These are things that the agency will never know about you. SO I can understand why a provider wants a direct reference from the provider herself.

I Have nothing but admiration for these girls. I once had to have sex with a woman who outweighed me by 100 lb (I weigh 210 BTW), had a mustache, rolls on her arms and thankfully the cigarette breath covered up the BO. I not only could not get it up but I faked getting sick by inducing vomiting off the balcony. How these girls manage to deal with (for lack of a better term) unpleasant clients is impressive. Talk about working under stressful conditions. I have nothing but admiration for them. May God bless them and God Protect them.
